There needs to be more videos like this done in current day. "Watch Pacitti get Pissed Off for 45 Minutes Using/Playing/Doing..." should be a regular segment
I had so many of those godforsaken Tiger handhelds as a child. So many. I blame the aesthetic of the units themselves. They grabbed your eye. They grabbed the wallets of clueless parents. Then they grabbed the nearest spot on the forgotten part of a shelf in your room.
As much as Adam is made for this video, I'd love to see it redone by Tom. I feel like Tom would sit there and play each game until he won, as being as happy as possible while doing it. I need a Tom live stream of this!
Growing up I had that all in one console Adam played at the end. Found it to be fun, took me forever to learn how to do a move besides the DDT. Still clearly remember the music the plays in the background.
The sounds of those LCD games are so nostalgic for me. I remember playing Game and Watch style games, and I believe I had the Tail Spin game as well. Man, gaming has come a long way since I was a kid haha.
I had the large blue wwf game. I loved it, played it relentlessly. You could get quite a decent match out of it. To pin them you needed to drop them behind you. You could even jump off the top rope in this game. Had a lot in it for such a simple thing.
I own Electronic Wrestling by Tiger, Tiger WWF Superstars, and the WCW Hulk Hogan handheld that plays like the Wrestlemania Challenge handheld. Incidentally, it looks like Big Boss Man and Andre the Giant in those handhelds, with only the boss changing. In Wrestlemania Challenge the final boss is Randy Savage, whereas in the WCW handheld it looks like Goldberg is the final boss.
Holy crap. I had a dragon ball one that was exactly like that Wrestlemania Challenge one, sound effects and all. The start music gave me nostalgia. Should have expected they would just recycle games. Also great shoutout to Ashens.
LCD games always remain a bizarre oddity in gaming history, mostly because the technology was outdated by 1990, yet Tiger Electronics kept pumping them out in fancier and fancier was until 1998.
38:46 The "GameKey" was an accessory that some Jakks Pacific Plug 'n' Play game consoles had that allowed additional content to be configured into the programming of the software. The GameKey was sort of like a memory card that had the ROM of bonus content, and while most Plug 'n' Play consoles were GameKey compatible as a means of future proofing, not every console ever got or had evidence of a GameKey in development since GameKeys were specific to certain consoles due to the software configuration. The WWE Plug 'n' Play was one of those. Had there actually been any work on the WWE game, it likely would have added an additional set of wrestlers like Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Edge, and Shelton Benjamin (I'm just being hypothetical here). And, I did own this game. What else was I gonna spend $10 on at a Family Dollar?
I had that blue WWF Superstars LCD game when I was a kid, and it didn't take me long to realize that every opponent was exactly the same, at which point I set it down and never touched it again.
2:56 I had that same exact game, except I was Stone Cold. I remember one of my opponents was Undertaker, but can't remember the other two. But I definitely remember those noises, and the 3 rings
Konami had a collection of LCD games that referred to as Popsicle Games (They were long rectangular shaped with a rounded top like a popsicle) I had Double Dribble and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but apparently they also had games like Top Gun, Garfield, Gradius, Skate & Die, etc
I had that Ruthless Aggression “Plug n Play” I remember beating the championship mode with every character in an afternoon and then going back to SVR ‘06
My family used to go on like 18 hour road trips in order to visit family. My parents would always buy me and my brother some Tiger handhelds before each trip and we would blow through each one during the trip to blow time. I had a few wrestling ones, but they could be very repetitive.
The last game played like the Royal Rumble and WWF Raw games for Genesis and Snes it seems. Not that they played well, but we played what we had. Although the Japanese had their Fire Pro already
Alot of these older games all you have to do is clean the springs and other connector parts with alcohol, the battery acid messes with the connection and doesn't give it enough power.
I think either my brother or I had the MGA one shaped like a ring. Unfortunately the display was cooler looking than the game itself, as in typical LCD handheld fashion, I had no idea how the hell you were even supposed to play it. James Rolfe said it best, "a game this simple shouldn't require instructions".
"friend's" has an apostrophe because they were encouraging you to train your digital-wrestler to knock out your friend's (or plural friends') digital-wrestler. Not train them to knock out your literal friends.
The average price of those tiger lcd games seems to be 25 dollars as of 2021. Some are more expensive at 40 to 50. Golden Axe and Pit fighter are expensive now
I’d also like to point out I got brought here from a news video. I watched the news and couldn’t get to my phone in time to switch it and I got treated to this gem of a video
Around 9:20… Maybe this game is different but normally you put inside two battaries in different directions. ;-) Btw. i love the subtle comment about Hogan. :-)
I actually had that pinball machine when I was a kid. It was so bad and like flaps that kept it up were pretty bad at keeping it upright. I would cheat a lot by picking up the toy and making it hit the high scoring markers 😅
i popped for “Ashen’s cam”
Hell yeah. Ashens videos are awesome. Been a subscriber for a long time .
"Hellooo!"
Ashens is like the friendly pawn shop owner of youtube.
I was hoping I wouldn't be the only Ashens fan lol
@@busakilla20 😆
God the lcd games bring me back. The mcdonalds toy ones especially
YES
Loved those
"Cutaholic presents: Adam is impatient with things for 40 minutes!

Not gunna lie, the ashens reference popped me!!
Ashen's vids are awesome.

"Why do you go to the showers for fun??"
Sounds like you picked JBL by mistake.
Seeing the Tiger LCD games always bring back a lot of nostalgia...painful, ear-piercing, revelatory "Oh my god, we were really poor" nostalgia.
i didn't even have those be glad u did
There needs to be more videos like this done in current day. "Watch Pacitti get Pissed Off for 45 Minutes Using/Playing/Doing..." should be a regular segment
Randomly watching this 3 years late 😂 but oh my days it’s brightened my day up. Soooo funny 😂😂😂
I see Pacitti making a face, I click. I’m a simple man
Yes
We all love his face. He's the face that can tie a lace.
@dick hammerbush No?
This should've been a co-lab with Stuart Ashens :)
As a Patreon backer since day one I approve of how you spent my money ;)
I had so many of those godforsaken Tiger handhelds as a child. So many. I blame the aesthetic of the units themselves. They grabbed your eye. They grabbed the wallets of clueless parents. Then they grabbed the nearest spot on the forgotten part of a shelf in your room.
Has Pacitti watched this back & seen the batteries in the same placement? Haha 😂🤣😂🤣😂
This video has just shown up in my suggestions, didn't show in my sub list, and when he turned it over it was obvious they were in wrong haha
Seriously! I was shouting at my screen in frustration. That's like electronics 101. Haha
Matt Cardona is weaping at you opening those sealed packages.
This video is giving me some big time nostalgia. I used to love these lcd handhelds. Gauntlet was my favorite.
As much as Adam is made for this video, I'd love to see it redone by Tom. I feel like Tom would sit there and play each game until he won, as being as happy as possible while doing it. I need a Tom live stream of this!

36:22 Adam putting over Doom Bar, what a man.
I have watched MANY Cultaholic videos- this one has quickly worked its way into my heart. Thank you Adam for the laugh and trip down memory lane!
The sounds of those LCD games are so nostalgic for me. I remember playing Game and Watch style games, and I believe I had the Tail Spin game as well. Man, gaming has come a long way since I was a kid haha.
The only handheld i actually liked was the Game Gear. I never bought in to the gameboy craze. For its faults, it was ahead of its time.
I had the large blue wwf game. I loved it, played it relentlessly. You could get quite a decent match out of it. To pin them you needed to drop them behind you.
You could even jump off the top rope in this game. Had a lot in it for such a simple thing.
"That was a very Jack the jobber thing to say" -Adam Pacitti
21:27 when the belt clip went flying xD
I owned the tiger handheld street fighter 2 the whole school enjoyed it. That bad boy got passed around almost as much as my ex girlfriend
Ba dum tss

I had the 1997 one with Kane, I got a couple hours of entertainment out of it. Cool to see it again.
The WWE Plug N Play had a slot on it’s controller for a Jakks Pacific Game Key that would unlock extra characters, but I never knew who they would be.
Holy crap. I had a dragon ball one that was exactly like that Wrestlemania Challenge one, sound effects and all. The start music gave me nostalgia. Should have expected they would just recycle games. Also great shoutout to Ashens.
WWF Superstars was genuinely one of my favorite toys as a kid. I got insanely good at it lol. Also loved my Sonic Spinball handheld.
Good bit of nostalgia. I must say your levels of patience is right there with Jeremy Clarkson.
Have real nostalgia for those LCD games. You couldn’t admit to yourself that they were shit even though deep down you knew...
Watching Adam play with 20 year olds games and getting Angry is oddly relaxing
LCD games always remain a bizarre oddity in gaming history, mostly because the technology was outdated by 1990, yet Tiger Electronics kept pumping them out in fancier and fancier was until 1998.
2:41 Haven't laid eyes or hands on it for 25 years or something but I remember having it! What a blast from the past! Wow
“This isn’t going very well, and there isn’t another screwdriver.”
But there is a SamDriver
OH MY GOD I LOVED THE RUTHLESS AGRESSION PLUGNPLAY GAME AS A KID
31:10 had me dying!!!
"Big boy here, and youve just gotta pound it" lol sounds legit
Oh my god.. I used to have the ring with yellow buttons on the Matt.... the amount of nostalgia this has given me is incredible
I had that blue Superstars one from 1991. It was so bad but that didn't stop me putting hours into it.
This is awesome. Gotta love the struggle that Paccitti went through with some of these. 😂🤣

Adam “bollocks to it” Pacitti
Love that prison shank plastic!! lol
9:27 could be wrong but I'm thinking you just have a battery in upside down.
He did put them in wrong
yeah it looks like it
hmmm maybe thats why it didnt work hahahahahahahahahaha
I had that blue WWF Superstars LCD game when I was a kid, and it didn't take me long to realize that every opponent was exactly the same, at which point I set it down and never touched it again.

You had to collect 3 of the lightning bolts to get the title lol I had the game when i was a kid
Hey hey ho ho it’s the reigns and Rollins show
My family used to go on like 18 hour road trips in order to visit family. My parents would always buy me and my brother some Tiger handhelds before each trip and we would blow through each one during the trip to blow time. I had a few wrestling ones, but they could be very repetitive.
I remember the one that was a ring. I had Kane vs Austin and I loved that game so much.
You should do one like" most crappy WWE things ever on eBay" but keep the videos coming
Geez I had that WCW game, you’ve just unearthed a well hidden memory of mine there Adam!
The last game played like the Royal Rumble and WWF Raw games for Genesis and Snes it seems. Not that they played well, but we played what we had. Although the Japanese had their Fire Pro already
I loved playing Reality Fighters as a kid, this brought back so many memories!
A truly Garry RUclips worthy thumbnail.
I got the 1997 MGA console with Stone Cold for Christmas. I remember spending *HOURS* that night trying to beat the guy at the top. So nostolgic...
Alot of these older games all you have to do is clean the springs and other connector parts with alcohol, the battery acid messes with the connection and doesn't give it enough power.
This is like one foot in the grave but for wrestling merch the comedy of Adam getting annoyed is fucking ace

The Royal Rumble game didn't work because you have both batteries facing the same direction.
Tiger games...I can hear The Nerd raging from here. What a nostalgia trip.
This has come out at a convenient time, as I've just finished my complete WWE game collection for ps2

My favorite was SvR 2007, 2011 was also nice

'Ashens cam'. That line made me pop. Also the white table is a poor substitute for the brown sofa
30:30 "All hail the new flesh brother dude jack"
Wow I remember buying that calculator from Woolworths, feel so old
Out of all those games, I had the first one you showed, the Wrestlemania one with Hogan vs Andre.
"friend's" has an apostrophe because they were encouraging you to train your digital-wrestler to knock out your friend's (or plural friends') digital-wrestler. Not train them to knock out your literal friends.
I had to read all the comments to see if anyone else had pointed this out before I felt I needed to!
That last game was my favorite!!! I'm so glad it was included. It was the reason I clicked the video 😁
11:00 I had the undertaker one . Also I had the wcw thumb war game
The digimon tamagotchi was still the best
Fuck, I Iove your disappointment. 😂😂🤣🤣👍👍
The royal rumble game... you had the batteries in the same direction, swap one round so they are alternating, like batteries. x
I had the in the ring with Taker and Austin and had the Goldberg Power fighters game. Loved them both when I was kid
Ashens cam was fantastic. Big pop.
I had the ring handheld . Friend of mine had the Hogan nwo. Man this bring back memories. I sure do miss the 90s
Awesome! I had one as a kid, but can't remember what it was. Hopwfully it's on here! Thanks guys!
@9:27 Aren't the batteries supposed to go in opposite directions?
"Bring it over and we can plug each other"
How do I find the reality fighters mga tamagotchi thing? I would love to have that but I can't seem to find it anywhere online
The average price of those tiger lcd games seems to be 25 dollars as of 2021. Some are more expensive at 40 to 50.
Golden Axe and Pit fighter are expensive now
I can’t believe how loud I screamed because I still have my (beefy) WWF Superstars game ! Lol
I wonder If you could build your own LCD game
I had a few of these. A wwf one... couple of sonic ones... we have some a long way now with what we can play on a phone...
I has the Blue Tiger one, used to play it all the time. I'm pretty sure you could pin people to win and a ref would appear to count.
I’d also like to point out I got brought here from a news video. I watched the news and couldn’t get to my phone in time to switch it and I got treated to this gem of a video
DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!
The 8-BITGUY needs to do video on these things
Holy I remember having that Royal Rumble '91 one!
That thumbnail tho 😆 I had the Wrestlemania Challenge and TMNT LCD games back in the day
Around 9:20…

try sanding the rust off battery posts and putting the batteries in the right way on the other might have more luck lol
There is no better video to watch before work than this
The one with the little ring and wired mini controller also had a Kane and Undertaker. I owned that one
Great trip down memory lane !! 😎👌
And very funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣
