Thank you for uploading this! I'm REALLY grateful to get to see the start and the finish, but it would be great to see the strategy unfold during the overnight portion as well.
What an excellent idea to put their track position posted electronically on the car. Don't know if that's new or not, but it's new to me and so helpful, I hope other leagues take note, especially the Euros.
I think that started in le mans with their 3 colored lights to represent the top 3 positions in each class, not sure when but in the last few years certainly,It's new to daytona this year and I really do like it.
The Tudor United Sportscar series kinda resembles the late 90s sports car era with high powered GT1 machines taking on LMP machinery, and its fascinating to see this again with the Daytona Prototypes which strongly resemble the GT1 cars from the late 90s. I love to see 2 completely different types of race cars go head to head for outright honours in the same championship. It’s a shame this era didn’t last long either as the Corvette and Riley DP were both awesome race cars.
Thank you Fox for not keeping 11 hours of racing for us to enjoy.
40:32 1:40:31 I love that Downshift and upshift very much
thx but where is the night part pls?
I'm so glad they got the new broadcast crew with John Hindhaugh & co for IMSA races. The first shift of these Fox guys seem to know about NASCAR but not road racing. I don't like NASCAR, but I'm not badmouthing it. It's just a different kind of racing. In road racing, if you try to pass on the inside at the apex when the door is closing, you caused that contact, and you get the penalty.
The first broadcast guys were all sportscars racers. Justin Bell won the GT1 class in a viper in 1999 24 hrs of Le Mans, maybe it was 1998 but he was also the FIA sportscars series season champion in the late 90s also... And Calvin Fish drove all sorts of cars from gt to prototype/world sportscars series cars.
Brian Tillman also used to be an Indycar driver I believe.. And he drove GT sportscars also. They are all road racers and never drove in Nascar.
@@csonkaperdido Thanks for that. I thought their commentary sounded pretty NASCAR, but it's true, I did not know their backgrounds at all. Maybe with the sports car regulars that I'm used to, I'm just in my comfort zone. I'm more familiar with their style and their priorities.
19:15 " oh for fucks sake"
Where is the FULL broadcast? You know, the ENTIRE overnight portion, which is half the race and arguably the most fun to watch? I watched portions of that overnight stream that night, and want to watch the rest. PLEASE get your act together and get this stuff right...
or maybe realize that they are stuck doing it in parts since youtube wont let u upload gaint videos all at once and also i my self have found all the night parts for this
So is no one going to be able to watch the whole night segment essentially because you're not uploading it. Yet you stream it no problem during the race? That's awesome...
If you would read the description this is from the "broadcast", if you want to the the entire nighttime hours you need to watch the "streaming" videos....They are available ...
You tube has all the videos, if you look at the Tudor Championship channel they are all listed...
***** I had this posted before the nighttime hours were up, fixed and have been viewed. Much appreciated. and thanks for continually posting races for public audiences.
4:50 if you're in the full broadcast playlist.
nice
it was the middle of the night and they skipped to sunrise wtf?
Where did the night go! Thats some pretty bush leage stuff to not have the entire night of a 24 hr race. ?
If you would read the description this is from the "broadcast", if you want to the the entire nighttime hours you need to watch the "streaming" videos....
Sam Rowland While I had no problems, i think it would be helpful if you would edit the titles to add 2014 to broadcast and online stream videos, also anything indicating night, on the online stream portion, Thanks again for uploading the nighttime portion of the online stream coverage!
Richard Easley
I had nothing to do with uploading these videos...They were all uploaded by Tudor Championship
Sam Rowland yeah my mistake, i apparently forgot i was replying to your comment rather than posting a new comment... i guess... :p
