This was helpful. I learned the basic function of Ableton and the difference between the session view and arrangement view. Also from starting a new set, importing tracks or loops and setting the tempo.
This was helpful. I’ve been a fan of this DAW since 2009 when I brought my first workstation keyboard the Yamaha MO6 it came with Ableton live 8lite and Cubase 4. A few years later in 2012-13 I brought my first 13” Mackbook Pro. During that time logic was a big thing for church musicians running tracks and later on stems. In between that time and now I’ve been introduced to Ableton 9&10 but never really learned how to use the Daw. Now it’s 2024 and I just brought Ableton live 12 sometime in July and this guide is has been an eye opener for me can’t wait for part two. 😤💪🏾
This was helpful. I learned specifically the smooth way of using the different loops to make spontaneous changes flawlessly. This was priceless. Thanks so much, man.
This was helpful. I learnt why Ableton is a preference for live worship sets (never really seen the interface before, just know its a daw) and how to switch between different loops/scenes cus man, I've tried making stems to use at my church but everytime we do use them, something always happens and probably the soloist repeats a line or the chorus goes on for like 2 more bars so we just have to turn the whole thing off 🤦😭. This will really be helpful in terms of being able to be a bit spontaneous and just flow. Also thanks man, really appreciate your videos I always learn something new. Not many gospel producers on here that break down stuff like this. Keep up the good work 💪
This was helpful. I learnt the basics of session view in under 15 mins. As a studio one user, been really thinking about switching to Ableton for live performances but i always thought Session view was too complicated.
This was helpful. I learned a lot of things. I love that you can assign key commands. Ableton is also accessible for blind users. I'm a part of the beta team and its fun to use. Loving the loops as well. You are using samples from Impact Soundworks right? ☺️
i finally learned how to use loops in ableton ...... SMH ..... after so many years... after so many tutorials .... no one could just explain it as easily as you just did.
My guy! Dope video as always! “Command R” to rename tracks
