Very well done. I've seen a LOT of review videos in my time and this one was very well put together. And didn't have any filler or anything worth cutting out. Just great.
@@nskgraff I’ve only had it 5 days. I have used it 1-2 times a day. I used all the controls. Made a thick sorbet like raspberry and 2 tablespoons of 1/2 and 1/2 dessert. Delicious
Thanks, I just got one and needed some idea on how to use it. This will be great for my smoothies. A regular blender was just too big and required lots of stops to stir it down.
Is there a pulse button?? You should be able to put hot water and soap in the cup and pulse a few times to help get everything unstuck and it will be easier to clean. Great video!!!
Except putting hot liquids in it is a big no-no since it is very small and the thermal energy created will greatly increase the pressure inside the cup.
I bought the blender yesterday and I checked how many watts it has. And it says on the bottom 1100 instead of 1200 watts. Does yours say the same thing??
Hi, excuse me but how long did you have it? Is it still working? I'm really thinking in buying it but I saw some reviews that the Ninja doesn't last, so I don't know, your ninja still working and since when did you have it? I really hope you can answer me, please.
Hello. Yes, I still have my Ninja but honestly I've only used it a few times because it's sooo loud, my kids and parrot freak out... but when I used it alot in the beggining for a full summer for smoothiers mostly and it held up well.... but I wouldn't process nut butter in it, I feel it can't handle it well. Hope that helps!
@@PrincessYonna1 your kitchen will sound like a construction site for a minute or two. It’s literally ear piercing loud. I haven’t used it in months I’m too scared to😂but I will say it gets the job done
Here is an idea! It is awkward but it helps a lot. Take a cardboard box that will fit over it while you use it. Line the inside of the box with foam. Not styrofoam though but the spongey kind. 👍
Yes, i agree. I always hesitate to push the button because of the loudness, but then it's always worth it in the end, it makes awesome smoothies and bowls, for sure! thanks for the comment!
Is it possible to use this also for dry materials such as coffee/spice grinder? Can the paddle cup top be removed altogether for thorough cleaning? Thanks for thorough walk thru of this!
I just bought this blender! The paddle cup doesn't remove. The instruction booklet says to add soapy water to the cup and run it through a blend cycle to clean it thoroughly. Haven't used that cup yet so I'm not sure how effective this is. I mostly make smoothies. Also, I read online that nutriblenders aren't made for dry spices so making anything dry w/o adding water or oil to the blender could dull the blades faster. It's best to buy a spice/coffee grinder w/ blades that are meant for that. There are some affordable ones on Amazon
@@druec2863 i am getting fed up between chosing the ninja and the nutriblender 900. Both are ridiculously loud, and i want one that can grind spices and make a smooth smoothie. All reviews say negative and positive things.
You will need to add some liquid to it otherwise the motor will burn out. When I blended the almonds I could smell the motor after the second round and that was with 2 Tbls of oil. This model # is SS101C. It definitely needs liquid.
Juicing squeezes all the juice and leaves the pulp behind. Extracting breaks down and blends the tougher ingredients like fruit & veg skins, tough leafy greens or stringy veg like celery etc. and blends it, so you're still retaining all the nutrients from these. Nothing is 'thrown' out, like pulp from juicing. Hope it helps.
To clean it with the paddle just put some water and a drop or two of dish detergent and hook it back up to the machine as if you where about to make another bowl.
I did buy from Amazon. It's pretty tight in the box, I didn't have any problems. If it does get damaged in shipping, you can always ask for a replacement at their cost.
Honestly, it is loud. I flinch every time I press a button, not to mention I always have to hold my Parrot or have someone take him to another room. It’s the only downside to the machine. I really do like it!

Nothing is 'thrown' out, like pulp from juicing. Hope it helps.
I think you used too much liquid that’s why the smoothie bowl started to become runny
Do you know if the galss of this blender is good for another Ninga blender that I have?
Which one is louder ? This one or Ninja IQ?
They both have the same motor base, so they are both equally loud, unfortunately.
To clean it with the paddle just put some water and a drop or two of dish detergent and hook it back up to the machine as if you where about to make another bowl.
Great tip thanks for sharing!
How do you clean that bowl?!
You can add warm water and a little dish soap to the bowl and then run it on the Bowl program. Hope that helps.

Ive had since January, so used it about 9 months so far.... it's pretty solid, I'm surprised both of yours broke! I hope you got it sorted.
Very nice
Thanks!
I don’t get this whole “extraction” thing. Seems like it’s just blending everything not separating out liquid and solid
It's basically trying to replicate the idea of having a juicer by blending everything together into a liquid consistency
Just got one.
