This week's Drills 'n' Chills has made me wax nostalgic for long ago Fall seasons. I love all the colors, especially maples, but I spent the last 20 years in Texas where it is not unusual to see temperatures in the high 90's on Christmas! Yes, I lived in purgatory! Prior to Texas, I lived in Michigan. Beautiful! I now live in Oklahoma ... better but not Michigan.
I remember when we only had either pink or blue wax to choose from. Now we are so lucky to have so many fantastic smelling waxes and putty to use! Yay for us!!
I love Robin's wax I have used it quite a bit. I also love the nostalgia containers she gets! She has so many fun products in her shop! I loved all the sponsors you showcased today they have wonderful items! Thank you to all of them filer their generosity!

I love using wax alternatives when I'm diamond painting. The pink wax never seems to last long enough for me so I've started using putty from numerous small businesses and I am in love with them
I really need to take notes on some of these small shop names! Those waxes are adorable! I've only ever used the DAC putty so I would love to expand and use different ones! 😊
It took me a couple years before I got my first wax bear and I didn't even understand how to use it. Now, I absolutely love it. I use it in my single placer, and putty in the multi placers.

I tried the apple cider scented hard n sticky wax from Randa's crafty corner and love it! it was fun to smell a fall scent while working on a fall painting!
I can't believe it's almost over, this has been such a fun event and my first one too! I've only tried one wax alternative and it was the museum putty you did a video on some time ago. Very cost effective and it lasts for so long. I mainly use it in my multiplayer for AB drills though ❤️
Hi Katie, I am loving Drills and Chills! Thank you for all you have done and thank you to all the sponsors! I haven't tried Paddy Wax yet but I keep hearing good things about it. I am solely a single placer and I use an angled tip. Seems all the different waxes I try never work in an angled tip. Hopefully one day I will find something that works, or gets tiring refilling every 5 minutes.

I have been using some wax and putty from Randa's Crafty Corner while working on my Drills and Chills canvas and am really loving all the fall scents they come in! The putty is the best, and definitely my favorite wax alternative so far.
So far I've only used the wax that comes in the kits, but watching your videos has me so intrigued by the scented waxes and putties. I think that will be my next phase in this diamond painting addiction I have going lol.

My first order of custom Munimade trays just came in and they are absolutely gorgeous! I'm so glad I was able to snag them last month. I like the popping sound my super sticky scented wax makes when placing diamonds (when it doesn't keep the diamond, lol)! Thanks for showing your goodies!

The pink wax has always been great during my 7 years of diamond painting. But lately I've been trying putty and enjoy using it so much more! I usually only have to change it once during a huge DAC painting

The scented wax I just bought came in the cutest container, and I find the wax actually seems easier to load in my single placer than the putty. Either way, they are both way more fun than the pink wax and always smell awesome!
Using putty instead of wax has been a game changer for me and my diamond paintings! Especially since I've been doing a lot of big DAC paintings. I couldn't imagine using the red wax while working on those 😭

Wow I really like the tin and it's content. The Pumpkin shaped wax is so cute. Also the Pumpkin pie Chit is wonderful. Lasts forever.

Since DP for only a few months now, I have tried sooooo many different types of wax. I have found Randa's putty to work best for me so far!! 💜💜

I found it very fitting to use my "Boogeyman" wax from Paddywax. It's smells just like fall and create great vibes for the event!
I love the different wax scents as well. I use Paddy wax and Notcher Mama's Mud, love them both for different uses.
