  • In this how-to video, I'm teaching you how to cut Dollar Tree insert cards with a standard Cricut mat. This is a simple and easy way to find the exact placement on a standard mat to precisely cut the outer card.
    If you haven't purchased Cricut's card mat, then this is the tutorial for you! By following the steps in this video, you'll be able to create custom cards quickly and easily! This method will also work with Cricut's insert cards on the Explore Air and Maker models.
    Supplies:
    Placement Guide - (design.cricut....)
    Dollar Tree Insert Cards (Available in-store)
    Standard Copy Paper
    Cricut Explore or Maker
    Standard Grip Mat

    Him thank you for the video! I was trying to follow it buy my maker wants to score first. Did you change any settings? I don't have a scoring wheel or a stylus. Thanks!

      You know what I did, on the panel where is shows elements, I took the scoring guide and turned it into a pen. So all the machine did was draw a tiny square on the white guide and then it cut the rest out.!!

    will this work for square cards and other sizes and what adjustments would you make foe example a 6x6 card from retailer Thank you ??

      I haven’t seen the 6x6 cards. The same concept would work, but you’d need to resize all of the elements.

    That's cool, but thats a whole lot of work to make one card.
