She has performed in Europe, Asia, North and South America, and the Caribbean in more than 13 languages. Dr. Marisan loves all genres of music and wishes to unite people through song!

Like many non Filipinos I discovered Morissette browsing through YT. I’m relatively a new follower of this incredible naturally gifted woman. I know there are many great and amazing vocalist in the past and present including the vocal trinity. But IMO Morissette sits there in a class of her own!
If you do decide to continue the journey of this phenomenal vocalist you will soon discover that she has a repertoire of vocal abilities ( vocal breaks/cries, whistle notes, growls, vocal squeaks, amazing breath control) that is very rare to find in a singer in today’s music industry.
She has a voice where hearing it the first time you know straight away that you’re listening to someone that is very very talented and very very special!
When ever Morissette covers a song she has the ability to make it her own. The musicality she processes is extraordinary. Singing to Morissette comes naturally just like breathing is for humans.

We the fans have been blessed with Morissette’s angelic and unique voice for years. “Haven’t heard anybody doing that before” is a lovely compliment you said noting that being a doctor in music, you would have already heard all the sounds humans can produce from their vocal instruments.
Interestingly, Morissette did not have any formal training except listening and being influenced by other world class singers during her singing journey. She said that she is surprised on the technical reviews of her singing technique, as she doesn’t even think about these technical aspects. She just loves to sing. Her natural talent is really a God’s gift for all of us to enjoy.

Morissette Amon and 3rd Avenue the Band did a soft rehearsal to find out where everything should be in the song, then BOOM this was a ONE TAKE Video, what a great singer Mori is, she did a FIRST TAKE Video in the Studio to the song POWER after being ill for a few days, her husband Dave Lamar is there in the Studio controlling the mix Pult, even he cannot believe she could sing so clear, but Morissette Amon she will always surprice you with her power then the soft emotional notes.

Subbed because Morrisette brought me here. I really enjoyed your reaction. This particular song is about the slow dissolution of a marriage and how she is coming to terms with it. I would like to recommend another song entitled 'Power'. In particular, the first-take recording video she released from her studio this summer. She performed it live at the Miss Philippines Universe pageant earlier this year before actually recording it. Be prepared, this woman has a crazy, mad following.

Squeak 🐿 is part of the trademark ™️ for Morissette Amon. She does that in other songs 🎵 Sometimes, she uses that instead of whistle notes 📝 Other Filipina singers can whistle 🤯 (Katrina Velarde, Elaine Duran, Chloe Redondo, Elha Nympha to name a few) note but they cannot master the squeaks! 🙄

“What was that?” That was Mori’s trademark squeak. She does those deliberately. Usually for emotional effect, sometimes for ornamentation. You are right, she’s mentioned that it involves using her whistle tone to make it. 😁

Such a great analysis. You pointed out my favorite part of this song when she flipped to her head voice for that one note. It adds so much maybe because its unexpected. She is just a treasure. BTW. Her diction in english is impeccable as well. Prime example would be "Nnever Enough". For me and many others it is the Gold Standard of that song.
