I love this character since back when he debuted on turbo rangers. Design-wise, it was the most realistic looking ranger I'd seen in the series, cladded it in black, armored and head to toe, brought a gun to a knife fight, and still manage to keep in air of mystery. Not to mention, he's been rocking that Master Chief look long before Xbox was even a thing.
Knowing his Japanese origins as the VRV Master and the team's mentor's father. Yes he unmasked in Carranger. I have the wave preordered but hoping to find at retail. Wal-Mart scaring me as haven't seen any lately at any been to. Same with Target (except Pudgy Pig) That aside after Heir of Darkness I'm looking forward to this fig.
I know nothing about this character, but I bought 5 to army build as a Biker Gang. Customized them with different helmet paints, added spikes and chains to the shoulders and used spare water slide decals from Gunpla kits. These would also make awesome ODST figures
Perhaps his identity is of Eltarian mystery. Just guessing. And by the way, seeing the LC Phantom Ranger review just makes me want to have this figure. Good sculpt, articulation, paint job, design, all in one makes the best figure because of the BOOM! Studios series. Great review so far, and a Happy 2022.
Very cool looking figure and it does have some potential for customs or heck repurposing and the only thing I could think of this figure to be repurposed or customized it the Charlie Sheen film, The Wraith.
Thanks for the review. I got mine Walmart along with in space pink before the end of the year. I'm curious you going to do shots with phantom and space pink together considering that they were crushing on each other.
Since you had in space blue there as well as kuuga fun fact the actor who played mega blue in space blue's sentai counterpart actually audition for the role of kuuga
I know nothing about the Phantom Ranger. I have nostalgia for MMPR and a little of Zeo and the Ninjas around that same time, but that is pretty much it. I started reading the BOOM comics and they're fun. All that said, I really would like this figure. Seemed interesting just by pics, but your review sealed it me. I really want this figure. I like the effects too. Could use them for Iceman or Sub-Zero. I wouldn't mind army building him either, since I do not have an attachment to the character. It is just a really cool looking figure with simplicity and versatility. Sweet.
Outstanding video review!! Glad you got this figute pretty early. Don't know a thing about the phantom ranger, so also appreciate the mini history review and going over the powerset. Happy New Year!
The power ruby is probably at the centre of his chest, but it looks like it has a great big hole in it to mount his energy effects. Sad, but what can you do.
Am I the only one who thought this was Billy (Mighty Morphin Blue Ranger) when they first showed him? Billy left for space and then later on the Phantom Ranger showed up from space. He kind of sounds like him, too, but that might just be a coincidence.
Hate to bug you but I want to get Phantom Ranger for my Birthday in the hopes of taking off the head and placing TJ from in space on the figure. Is this possible. I have the same TJ the one from the two pack with the silver ranger/
Just got mine for $11 in bigbadtoystore. This figure is really nice, didn’t expect it to be so good. The articulation is nothing amazing but it somehow can get some really aesthetically pleasing poses. Really great figure and I cant wait to get the blue centurion to pose with him, they’ll look great together.
I love how his helmet reminds me a little of Master Chief in spots and also Daft Punk but also being completely it's own thing
Definitely looks like a helmet in Halo.

I know nothing about power rangers, but I have a feeling this guy would look dope as a space style snake eyes.

Love this phantom ranger fig! Or 'VRV Master' as he is called in the gekisou Sentai Carranger!
Came over here thanks to Toy Galaxy. I have this figure, and will be trying out some of your ideas here. Thanks.
Your jungle background and Tengas really complimented the Phantom Ranger. Especially for readers of the PR Unlimited comic. 👏

Great video looking forward to adding this one to my collection!

Can't wait to get my hands on this one!

Thanks for the video! Does he have butterfly joint?
Can’t wait for mine to come in..also the laser beam slotted into his chest reminds me mortal kombat Cyrak
Great review. Very good photos.
Rescue Megazord or their High Stance Mode would be my most wanted

Could be a good base for a Mr. Freeze custom too.

Lol it's awkward that he doesn't have the Power Ruby.. considering he can't survive without it. The Turbo show says the ruby is his life force.

Nice and beautiful diaorama Sir 👍❤️

What were your thoughts on Universe #1?? I thought it was VERY shaky.

I got this yesterday
Pog
wasn't the original plan for Phantom Ranger to turn out to be Billy?
Hasbro really ignoring turbo entirely
Compar with SH FIGUARTS!
Pls include how much range he has when hitting the split. I'm really curious about that specific joint but it seems like you just skipped through it
