Hey man, great videos! I've been really struggling with open world roaming and your channel is exactly the information I was looking for. Cheers!
I appreciate the kind words! Stay awesome!😎
I really needed this because I was really confused😵. Thank you nice vid professort
You are most welcome!😁
Great vid bro thank you keep it up!!!!!
Thank you for the kind words!😁😁😁
I'm glad I saw this capes guide, it seems brawler with BW would be perfect for slowing down opponents when they release the new patch
There will be new builds for sure with the BW cape! Excited to see it!🥶
New player here. I needed this. 😭
Hi Sir just started 2 days ago. Good video. My question is how ad where do I craft all the other capes that aren't the adepts cape because I haven't seen any progression metrics for capes specifically?
Contrary to popular belief...all heroes *DO* wear capes!
😎😎😎
One shoot pike uses demon cape as well its really funny
What cape would you recommend for someone who has a ganker build?
What about Avalonian cape? Is it just a better/more expensive Thetford?
Wanted to add a little more detail to the video - otherwise very informative and especially valuable to newer players.
Capes by Type:
*On Autoattack*
Thetford: DPS Option for solo play (both PvE + PvP), only use on builds that weave in autos in-between abilities. Shortest cooldown proc makes it good for continuous DPS.
Demon: DPS Option for group PvE + Lockdown in PvP. Does less DPS than Thetford if enemy has chance to walk out of puddle. Great controlled DPS add as mentioned.
Bridgewatch: Utility + Defensive for DPS builds. If your build is full damage but lacks any defensive or utility then this is a good option.
***Will move to "On E Cast" and will be an additional option for mainly engaging gankers like double-bladed. I can't think of any tanks in group PvP that would prefer this option.
*On Cast*
Morgana (E Cast): Pairs well with ability spammers or limited auto attack buff to open a burst window (1h Dagger, Frost, Fire, whispering bow). Beware of speed caps.
***With NDA Changes - this will be great on slower-casting Es that originally required using scholar robe first to get boost (Permafrost, Brimstone, Cataclysm Curse)
Heretic (F Cast): Used either for additional kiting ability or additional lockdown on CC builds. For kiting, it's mostly only good in instanced content since otherwise it can be easily avoided.
Caerleon (Q Cast): Used on builds with high impact Q that have long-ish cooldowns (~5 seconds) for DPS burst (crossbow, mace, curse sickle)
*On Health %*
Undead: Great for solo play in order to outplay larger groups and escape. Straight-forward defensive option.
Martlock: Pairs well on builds that thrive in group combat (Hellion Jacket + Martlock is especially strong) and allows bruisers (as example) to remain in the middle of combat for longer.
Keeper: Basically a counter-cape used to turn a fight around. Great on builds that use backloaded damage or tankier builds that can sustain upfront damage before turning around to burst.
***Ironically this is also great with Hellion Jacket, it won't keep you from bursting to 0 HP, but if you do survive, it will heal you an INSANE amount while dealing great AoE damage.
*Other Proc*
Sterling (on cc): Strong on builds that are especially susceptible to CC (basically any cloth, who has no cc reduction) and typically used in larger scale fights on RDPS & Healers (clothies).
Lymhurst (on energy %): Great on builds that quickly burn through energy such as healers and some DPS options. Allows for quick energy reset that is valuable in extended fights.
I use demon cape with no mobility debuffs cuz they ignore the puddle alot, idk lol
what is best cape for spear pliss brother
What cape would you recommend for fame farming and solo dungeons ?
Thetford or Demon😎
How or where can I get capes
Hello!
I'm bow user I use adepts avalonian cape
What should I use for 1h spear build where I'm just doing static yellow zone mobs.
man so much changed since I asked this like losing my original account lol
So what’s best cape for bow builds
Depends on the content, I see therford, undead open world(expensive though) or maybe just use a utility cape like Sterling or Mart! There are alot of different ways to set it up!😁
The reworked bw cape is gonna be so broken with 1h dagger 😅
Not really. Only 20% slow and no damage reduction. Plus you have to position your character on the top of the enemy character to make sure the enemy will be in the center of the storm. Tricky changes.
Bridgewatch cape + Greateaxe (E) = Spin2Win😂
