Such wonderful memories growing up to be at Seabreeze and also to watch it evolve and expand as I went with my children. It’s still around and family owned and operated.
I grew up near Cedar Point and currently live by Darien Lake so I know all of these rides will be tame by those standards but I'm still excited to go on the countries oldest continuously running roller coaster later this month!
I've been deathly afraid of roller coasters all my life. I'm 24 now. I finally forced myself on this yesterday. My fear quickly became pure joy. My fear is conquered and now I love coasters.
@@DavidMorseMusicthanks for the inspiration, I rode a 70ft woodie like 3 times and now I'm not scared of that ride, it's just that I'd be terrified of a 200 footer so yea
I love the jack rabbit it is the only coaster bnb I'll ride. I dont like the ones that tip you upside down. I'm hoping I can convince my husband to go one time thIs year
The Jack Rabbit dates from the 1950's. When we lived in Rochester & went to Sea Breeze (aka Dreamland Park), our parents would never allow us to go on that ride.
I always thought the jack rabbit was only at penny wood but you guys have a not so scary version of it it's only missing the double drop down on yours.
This is the only one I’d get on …. EVER… first time I got on this was 6th grade with my best friend and I was scared to death I was holding her hand so tight lol
So that's what the Jack Rabbit sounds like with no one screaming in your ear.
Nice clear video.
Thanks.
I still screamed in the tunnel
Yeah the screaming always scared me so I always closed my eyes and plugged my ears. I didn't know there were lights on the walls innthe dark part. 😮
My first big rollercoaster when I was a kid. The drop inside the tunnel at the end scared the scrap out of me, lol. 😄
I'm so happy to see a coaster that is this old and still going...!💗😊
I remember when i was a kid, my parents took me on that ride saying it was their childhood!
Seabreeze is soooooooo fun
@Gia&Lou did you have fun?
And I live right across the street from it
Such wonderful memories growing up to be at Seabreeze and also to watch it evolve and expand as I went with my children. It’s still around and family owned and operated.
Always has been the highlight of my summers! Thank you, SeaBreeze!
Really brings me back to when I was getting whiplash on this thing at 10 years old. I always love the little drop in the tunnel at the end
I was so scared to go on it...but I did it anyway and now it’s my fav ride!!!
(The jack rabbit is a prettty smart and cool name, too.)

I went at 15yrs old when my mom took me to my stepfather’s family reunion from Fl I’m 40 now wow I had a blast on this
This is my favorite ride at seebreeze but during the summer we only went to see breeze once
Nah this drop at the end of chain lift got me good

@@AvalancheTV fun update... I'm addicted now and just rode Kingda Ka 8 times yesterday 😂

God I miss Rochester and places like Seabreeze! Thanks for the memories!
where do you live? Lots of traditional parks ( but not enough) across the world

Exactly!!!
My Favorite ride can’t wait to go tomorrow!!
Omg I'm supposed to go tomorrow : D
I’m going today 👁👅👁
One of only a handful of coasters that have just reached the 100 years club!
Such a great ending on this well tended gem!! I always look for new wood when I ride in front. I only wish the double dip delivered.
Had one just like this in New Jersey, at clementon lake park. Miss it a lot, great little ride.
Similar but not exactly
Going today! I have never been on a roller coaster! This will be so fun!
I love jack rabbit

I went back to Wonderland and now love upside down coasters
We used to go here every summer with my dad and grandpa in the 90s except I was too young to ride on the Jack Rabbit :(
Recorded horizontally:)
I went on here and I got so scared I couldn’t breathe.
HOME 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤

There's actually airtime on this rollercoaster. Possibly ejector. You have to sit in the back of the first car.
so you get airtime?
@@veryymuchjojo yes car 1 row 2
As old as the one at kennywood,
Same name as the one at kennywood,
Did you theme parks work together?!
They are both designed By John Miller, and this one is a tiny bit older.
This was my first roller coaster!
THE FALLS LOOK ALLOT SMALLER THAN THAY ARE
Respect to this man for hanging on tight to his camera😂😂😂
I brought my phone on the ride to take selfies with my friend group, I had my hands up gripping the phone the entire time haha
It's a mounted GoPro
I still remember being traumatized by this ancient coaster
so fun
Im very proud to live only 30 minutes away from here
Last time I rode this, I thought the pacing was quite decent. Still a good ride nonetheless!!
I hate this ride but I love it
Why you hate it besucase is boring or something?
Lilybeth Flecha to its scary xD
I always thought the jack rabbit was only at penny wood but you guys have a not so scary version of it it's only missing the double drop down on yours.
the video makes it not look as scary also our jack rabbit is older I think.
Correct. Seabreeze has the oldest continuously operating roller coaster in North America... Older than Kenny wood @@shootiecomplaise2748

Is the Jack Rabbit coaster that used to be in Clementon, NJ?
No. Built in 1920 exactly where it is today in Rochester, NY.
Would be epic if sea breeze added more coasters
If so then they would need a bigger location since I believe seabreeze cannot fit any more roller coasters
@@CharlieNieves-s2l unfortunate
Its fun
Me and my friends got kicked out of this park once for stuff we did on the log flune
to be honest I pretty sure log flume has a higher drop than Jack Rabbit
Nope, Jack Rabbit's largest drop is almost 80 feet.
The seems way faster irl
Whoever thumbs-downed this is a dingbat
