Can we use the same documents as evidence for Mandatory and Optional criteria? For example, according to the Tech Nation guide, "employment contract" is listed in both Mandatory and Optional criteria #3. And of course, recommendation letters should be used in Mandatory and Optional criteria #3. However, the document checklist says, "You cannot use the same piece of evidence for more than one criterion". If not, then where should I put the contract, in mandatory or optional section?

Is there a way to show your proof online? Like your GitHub? Or maybe recommendation letter from your past manager who maybe working with other companies now. There are innovative ways that you can explore to show proofs - the key thing you have to note is to always call out your impact. Like a - “How it’s started vs How it went or Now” representation. Also, a larger percentage of your application can be around what you now do in the UK, with what you’ve done in the past a way to share your full story. So things like interesting projects that you now work on, or projects you launched/built, how much you now earn - be your main evidence in the compulsory criteria Hope it helps. Having the same individuals write both could potentially limit the diversity and range of perspectives presented in your application. Ideally, your recommendation letters should come from individuals who can provide a high-level endorsement of your work and impact in the tech sector, while reference letters might focus more specifically on your achievements and qualifications.

This is in addition to the required letters of endorsement and should be written by another individual;" So it clearly says not the same person from recommendation letter? But what if it is the CEO who is an employer and he already wrote the recommendation letter as well? Does it mean the CEO cannot write recommendation letters, otherwise you cannot confirm OC#3?
@@roman6188 you have to understand that there are the three compulsory recommendation letters and there is reference letter that can speak to your evidence e.g in the optional criteria. I recommend that you find someone else that can speak to your contributions. Maybe the CTO, or COO - someone that’s different from your CEO. Did I answer your question correctly?
