Great haul Maia, that white Night paints are amazing... I don't have the set but I have 3 colors from that set which I bought in open stock. They are just fabulous. I had used these paints in Hanna Karlzon' books, Johanna Basford's books and Maria Trolle's books. Oh! you have a great collection of Japanese coloring books. Thank you for sharing and enjoy 😊
Ya i know what you mean, i personally like my inktense better than normal watercolor pencils so id say try some of those first, but what i love about watercolor pencils is that they are a great addition or supplement to the inktense pencils, since inktense comes in a limited range, i use the watercolor pencils for the lighter more muted colors and for any gaps in the color range, so in conjunction. But ive really been enjoying the AD on the japanese coloring books, especially Eriy .
Awesome haul!! Thank you so much for showing the acrylic markers from aliexpress!!!! I have been wanting to get some since I first saw them on your channel. I have had that very set in my aliexpress cart for a long time, but you just never know what you are getting when you order from them. I am so glad you took the chance and let us know. I paused and ordered the big set!!! LOL!!! Also, great advice on using gentle pressure with the white gel pen. Great results are truly all about knowing how your mediums work best. Have fun with these goodies. Excited to see what you do with them 😊
Was literally just looking at the 60 set of Albrecht durers so that's a really cool reccomendation, to supplement with the caran dache ones, thanks. I have some of those pitt pens but have put them somewhere "safe" and can't find them 😂 I seem to remember hearing they match up colours with polychromos pencils too apparently. Makes sense, they're faber castell as well! 😁 The signo uniball white is my favourite. I don't get on with poscas and the gelly roll one I find is gappy so yeah signo for me
Yes i agree with you, the white gelly roll isn’t great, the white Artistro acrylic paint pens are also amazing and much cheaper than posca. But ya uniball signo is amazing. Ya the 60 set i think is perfect, and i would also get some of the lighter green ochre greens from the CD supracolors, i forgot to show those, but ya id supplament with like 10 colors from the supracolors and then you’re golden. Yes i think you’re right the FC pitt pens are the same colors as polychromos which is cool . Happy coloring dear ! Thanks for taking the time to comment ! I do enjoy hearing from you guys
OMG what a wonderful haul. So many nice goodies. I’m a bit disappointed in my unisigno white gel pens, perhaps it was my fault too, cause I got like 4 at the time, and even new ones are not writing properly. So now I have to use tricks to make it work for short time. Like putting kneadable eraser or tacky at the end of ink chamber. I prefer sakura gelly roll, didn’t dry up so far, feel like it has something to do with the size of ink chamber or maybe consistency of ink. Loving Enchanted earth, and it is even more beautiful in person, gorgeous book. Enjoy and have fun with your art supplies 💜
Oh yes Enchanted Earth is gorgeous !! You know i think when the uniball gets old it starts not working well , but i had that same problem and even worse with the white gelly roll, i guess it just depends how old the pen is, i think maybe the white gelly rolls that i bought were too old, sitting in the store for a long time. Hi !!!! Yes i can totally see now why her books are so popular!! The illustrations are perfect for beginners and for more advanced. The paper is incredible and the hardback book binging is absolutely gorgeous !!!! I think im a new Maria Trolle fan i noticed that i really enjoy coloring in those. Books! Im glad i tried them

I totally agree with the black in the MC books, which is strange because I usually like strong black in other books? Yes i heard you say that too !! Its a lot of black lines, which may be less inviting to color but still her artwork is so pretty that we overlook it . And i agree the british cover is nicer for nature mandlas which is why i got mine from book depository lol 😂

FC Pitt Pens are gorgeous. They like the paper in Circle of Life. No need to put anything over them. They work beautifully on their own. Never streak.
