    Does this rule also include NAIA? So if I transfer from a Juco to a NAIA, will I have 4 years of eligibility?

    What happen if your at D1 get cut due to number requirment, can you go down to JUCO, play 1 or 2 years and have the remainder to go back to D1?

    If this ruling stands, do you see NAIA schools following suit? Will JUCO time not count against NAIA eligibility? Will NAIA time not count against NCAA eligibility?

    D two's and d three's will not hurt at all by this new ruling because there are plenty. Most players aren't good enough to play at D1.

    Your talking about 100, 200, maybe 300 kids a year. You act like everyone wants to go to community college(JUCO) or has nothing but MLB aspirations. That is a minority of players nationally. Yes, JUCO will get better, but there is still a limited number of teams at that level.
    Statistically speaking the longer you wait to join the work force the worse you will be financially as you age; meaning saving, earnings, retirement….basically taking a PG year haunts you forever. Now don’t get me wrong, some kids will get a full ride or get drafted….but for the vast majority it will be a liability.

    The D1 guy could go to Juco if they did not get drafted. it would extend there draft eligibility 2 more years. The Juco Coach would likely take the D1 guy who is still looking to go pro over the HS guy. The HS guy only option is D2 D3?...

    • @EliteSportsAdvisingESA

      @@ALLSTREET_SPORTS just depends. They will want HS guys.

    • @ALLSTREET_SPORTS

      I'm just thinking about the possibilities?... Maybe a D1 guy says " it's not fair I did not get my free 2 years of Juco " D1 guys who are already in the system. Then there's another court case?.. So the new normal could be HS guy goes to D2 D3 for 2 years then D1, maybe did not get drafted. Then goes to Juco for 2 more years. Juco could be the new minor leagues?.. Juco you can get drafted anytime, it's cheap, you can focus just on Baseball, play more games... Stud HS guy will go to Juco instead of D1... Then the NIL, TV deals goes to Juco. That is where the action is at/Future Stars who can be drafted at any time. Once a cycle happens it's hard to break.

      @EliteSportsAdvisingESA  Месяц назад

      @@ALLSTREET_SPORTS the problem is that you’ll age out of pro ball going that route. Age is still really important at the pro level so if you’re 26 and get drafted you have virtually no leverage and will have a really short leash.

    • @ALLSTREET_SPORTS
      @ALLSTREET_SPORTS Месяц назад

      Just getting your thoughts... If your 19 as a Freshman your 24 in your sixth year. I can see how this is bad for the pitcher ( arm health is valuable) but for the position player this could work. Same way D1 will take HS pitchers but will want the position player to prove there bat at the lower level first. I'm sure a player will want a leash than to have no leash. Thank you for your feedback on this subject.

We have kids leaving schools that will never graduate and living with Mom & Dad because we don’t cover the reality of missing grad qualifications. @ Sounds nice and for the few that do that great. Many are hopping programs, missing grad requirements and taking up spots for what would be HS players ready to start their careers. When a 25 year old hangs on with no pro opportunity it’s a problem imo.
