Once birth right executive order is challenged in the court, what will happen to the children born during the ongoing litigation and decision pending??
The children will still remain citizens. Once the Supreme Court reaffirms its ruling, those children will still remain citizen. You need a Constitutional ammendment for that.
@Not_fit_to_be_President As the only country to have this law and based on the reasons it was originally drawn up, I fully expect the Supreme Court to remove the right as it no longer serves the purpose originally set in the 1800s. I do not see the process taking long, either. It will have bi-partisan support, a conservative court, and the pros for ending it out weigh the cons with the new agenda that the majority of the American population voted for. We are a merit based immigration system now as well. The law can conclude without the Supreme Court that parents who are deported must take their children with them, and so either way, it's going to be fairly impossible to stay.
its like letting a random Stranger live in your house.. or a burglar you found out just made themselves comfy in your home… would you let anyone do that to yourself? I dare everyone who says illegal is destined in your home… if you do i dare you to let them in andmlet them live in your house.

If you are a green card holder and get convicted of a misdemeanor for possession of controlled substance for personal use, do you automatically lose your permanent residence (green card) without any process by CBP/ICE/USCIS. Willyou be among the first targets for deportation?
Also before the US citizen father can able to claimed the child in Philippines 🇵🇭 bringing in United States 🇺🇸, he must provide proof that he is a US citizen by birth or became a US citizen and the child and the father must taken the blood test to prove that he is the biological father of the child.

According to legal scholars and historical interpretations, the framers of the 14th Amendment did not intend for it to grant automatic citizenship to children born in the United States to illegal immigrants, meaning they did not intend for it to apply to "illegal aliens" as we understand the term today; this is a point of ongoing debate regarding the interpretation of the "subject to the jurisdiction thereof" clause in the amendment. Key points about this debate: Original intent argument: Critics of birthright citizenship for children of undocumented immigrants argue that the framers of the 14th Amendment were focused on securing citizenship rights for formerly enslaved people and did not intend to extend citizenship to children born to individuals not fully subject to US jurisdiction, like illegal immigrants. "Subject to the jurisdiction thereof": This phrase within the 14th Amendment is central to the debate, with some arguing that it excludes children born to illegal immigrants from automatic citizenship. Supreme Court rulings: While the Supreme Court has not definitively ruled on this issue, past decisions like "United States v. Wong Kim Ark" have generally interpreted the 14th Amendment as granting birthright citizenship to children born in the US to legal non-citizen parents. Even AI knows that Trump is right. 😂
So, you're against preventing people from crossing the border illegally, giving birth and allowing them to bring their whole family in when there aren't enough jobs for the people who are already here?
@@MaryaliceCampbell You are here legally, You are still not a CITIZEN of the USA. Being a citizen of this country gives your child citizenship. Visa, being here illegally, is not CITIZENSHIP.
About birthright citizenship, legally, it is not correct to say that this executive order will put an end to the right of the soil. It is rather a restriction or a limitation since this right remains acquired for aliens with permanent residence. Children born on American territory, one of whose parents is a holder of the green card, automatically remain American citizens according to the executive order. Even in this case, this restriction seems contrary to the constitution (14th amendement) and it will create stateless children or children without legal status in the country, even if, in certain cases, their parents would have entered and reside lawfully, even temporarily, on American territory.
In the Philippines, it always follows the birth right to follow and recognize to make sure one of the parents is a U.S. citizen before bringing the child to the United States.
