The things you're calling triplets at 1:03 are not really triplets. A triplet is not just any three notes; it's three notes that evenly take up the same time as a 2 notes of your regular metric, e.g, 3 notes occupying the space of two quarter notes or two eighth notes, etc. Your "triplets" are each aligned on 16th note grid lines. Cubase can do triplets by setting the length quantize to Triplet and you'll see if you do that they don't align to 4/4 time grid lines.
Just found your channel after a hiatus from music and I'm now getting into trance production, so much fun! Your channel is an absolute godsend! I'm going to be devouring the whole thing over the coming months and will be sure to like every video. Thanks!
Wow thanks!!! This was actually the best video tutorial I`ve ever watched about this topic, big big thanks. Finaly the complete answer how to create this awesome psytrance basslines. Concerning the triplets and the kickstart tool I was already informed, but how to layer several bass lines and making the whole thing really groove and fat sounding...this point was not clear until now :-)))
Great as always. Feel like I have some ideas to roll forward as I'm learning all of this, never thought to have a "high/mid/low" concept on the BASS line...really cool
Hey man .... your tutorials are so good it's helping me a lot .... can you please continue this and build a full track or do a tech trance version please
Hey. The sound is really really good. Can you please make a video with the synth settings or can you post them? Maybe how you eq´ed and mixed the sounds?
I still love your tutorials you certainly break it down for us to understand, Why don’t you the a LFO tool to get more punch 🤛 yet so simple but effective
i dont mean to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow forgot my login password. I would love any help you can offer me.
Hi Demes, Thank you for this video! a question your Basslines on G note and can you put leads / synth over it within the key of your track or it has to be same note as the Basslines?
+Ahmed Noor within the same key but I will be explaining this is a couple of videos. I am doing percussion and lead video on the same track. Nice to hear from you.

Great tutorials. You use exciting melodies which I greatly appreciate.

those aren't triplets they're semiquavers. apart from that good stuff
I've never seen them called semiquaver before. Crazy.
Classical music terminology.... aka 16th notes
@Jason Gates Pretty sure it's a British thing.

Demis Hellen thanks for your reply and yea I'll be looking forward to your more videos great
Just curious what synth did you use for the bass line and what was the pre set you used
Also what where the keys used
I will have to look at the original project. I cannot remember haha.
@@demishellen did u ever find these mate?
Would you say All of them on the same preset or would you use different presets to create more movement ?
I would definitely use complimenting presets but that is not to say you cannot use the same preset layered but with different sound shaping etc. 😎
Demis Hellen suppose it’s finding what sounds right ! You could spend hours tweaking lol
Those aer not triplets
