I am from the old school of HBCU Bands, back then we were call Black Colleges. I has watched and enjoyed you all developed own identity. If didn't enjoy listening and watching you I wouldn't be on RUclips so much. I wish you Musicians would stop the hatred and spend more time developing your technical skills.
They have always had good Tubas they didn't have good functioning Tubas. Those horns had leaks and lose of air means no volume. When they those new instruments you herd the difference. I will say they more good players now. Two of their Directors are lower Brass players.
Tubas actually sounded good on this one..SU Tuba section has always been their weakness in my opinion. Love they switch to brass and did away with that plastic shit.
