When I first saw that people wanted the FTO to be a WCA event I was thinking WHY??? But now that I have a good one I also think it should be a WCA event. Who else thinks FTO should be a WCA event?
I don't like the colours myself. The blue and purple are awful for my colourblindness, and in non ideal lighting the dark colours are hard to distinguish. I would have preferred the purple be pink, and the dark brown be black instead
The FTO has this nice thing that is has orbits. That means only half of the puzzle scrambles with each other. So you can change the color scheme to have blue and purple in different orbits and it won't be a problem that they look similar. It's not very easy to change the color scheme on that puzzle, but it's possible (did it on mine)
