  • Doctor Bob from Doctor Bob’s Balloons Unlimited joins us once again and this time he is teaching us to create an apple twist in balloons. You can use this technique to make apples, caterpillars, columns or even a trunk for an elephant. For this technique, take a 5-inch or 11-inch latex balloon, over-inflate it to stretch it out and deflate to the size you need the balloon to be. Knot off the neck of the balloon but be sure to leave enough of the neck left as you’ll need to push it inside the balloon. Pinch the knot from the other end. Twist and tie with a 260Q balloon and you have yourself an apple twist in a balloon!

    thanks for reminding! I use a small one for the middle of my flowers, with some 160s attached inside. Looks lovely!
