I think the Saints played better football for much of the game. We gave a free touchdown in a fluke on special teams. It happens. It even almost happened in the superbowl. The important thing is we still looked functional and maybe even better despite the injuries. Flukes like that happen, but they should be rare. Though I hate losing to the Falcons, the people of Atlanta could use something to pick up their mood after that hurricane [we Saints fans know what that's like].
Also to add, the o-line was stable and played well though they allowed pressures and in some plays and they could have execute plays better but it could have worse but they did their job and played well.

Let me ask you a question would have been better to let the guy catch the ball and a clock keep running and give the kicker more pressure or to do the pass interference
I don't see him making them play the whole field anymore. It was predictable the way it was going to play out, why didn't they not go into prevent defense.
Outplayed the falcons, 2 fluke plays and atlantas kicker scoring a career longest fg. Saints played really well given how they are ripped with injuries. Only lost this one to really really bad luck.
I think Shaheeds WR instincts took over on that boneheaded return play. As a return man, obviously you know you should do there, but, as a WR you twist your body as oddly as you can to try to make a catch at all costs. That's what I believe happened there. He just brain-farted and forgot what role he was supposed to be playing. Still unfortunate, don't get me wrong.
No way … Dennis allen should of took the field goal instead of going for it .. Dennis should’ve trusted the defense to get the ball back with 4 min left .. They didn’t give up a touchdown for crying out loud .. Score should’ve been 27-26 Saints !
Horrible loss, reflecting on it you can point fingers, Adebo, Shaheed, DA, Carr, DL, injuries. Whoever or whatever, this shouldn’t have happened easily can be 4-0, we aren’t. I still have high hopes and we can def still win this division. Gotta handle business against the Buccs and hopefully we see that we can hang around with the chiefs which we are certainly better than Chargers lol so I think we can do it. WHO DAT
people saying kubiak or allen lost us this game are just delusional and didnt watch the game not saying they are the bst of the best of coches but they didnt make mistakes that lost the game for us
Dennis can’t go, he’s great for our D. No Cap, this is championship level defense people. Kubiak can’t go, he just has to be better at play calling period! D. Carr has to sit and I hope they don’t wait too long before realizing this
Carr is the highest graded QB in the NFL since week 11 of last season. Saints fans don't even realize when a QB is playing at an elite level 😅. No other QB was playing better the last 2 weeks with his the OL has been, along with being in a new system. Carr has proven for a fact that he can and will play at an elite level. You should get the idea that he's the problem out of your head. It isn't true. Giving up a muffed punt TD and the defense get DPI at the worst possible time is why they lost the game. Once saints started struggling to run the ball, guess who carried the offense? Carr.
What did DA do you ask? I would say why keep playing man to man in a situation where you have to get one more defensive stand. Paulson Adebo wasn't horrible and he did get a interception but he was getting abused most of the day because they did not test Marshon much. Give your man some help and play some other coverage in that situation. Some type of prevent why man to man.
My problem isn’t going for it, I love shaheed but my problem is I feel like Carr looks for shaheed first in 1 on 1 situations where we need a play made but that’s where I feel like he should be going to olave. Like that 4th down in the redzone he knew it was zero coverage we had Juwan 6’4 match up on the safety and olave our #1 and he goes to shaheed 🤦🏽♂️

If Shaheed was at the snack stand.. lol, that made me chuckle. 😅....😢
D needs to play 60 mins. 2 game in a row.where they gave up the last minute.
We lost the game because DA bad decisions on not kicking field goal with 4 minutes left
Was Tyron Mathieu really injured, or was he benched for missed tackles?
Sasly we are choke artists. Just knew we were giving up that field goal
I was fine with 2-3 after 5 before the season
I trust Grupe more than the HC.
Score should’ve been 27-26 Saints !
bruh……..
Falcons was playing with 3rd string Linebackers. Could have the same excuse
WHO DAT
ALL time record .. Aints -55 Falcon's 56
people saying kubiak or allen lost us this game are just delusional and didnt watch the game not saying they are the bst of the best of coches but they didnt make mistakes that lost the game for us
I would not let this regime make another trade.
Carr.
All ima say is the Saints desperately needs Kendre Miller and AT Perry to join this team.
It should not have been a close game. Atl is not good either, just like Philly wasn't.. I am starting to think we aren't either. sorry.
Is are medical staff just bad? Why are so many guys injured and reinjured?
These excuses are great and i knew they were coming! Just give the Saints time...they will hurt you.
