Nazy, it's such a pretty journal and not too complicated for anyone to make. I love and appreciate how you make it so accessible for everyone to make a beautiful little memory keeping journal for themselves or as a gift. Ok. I'm giving you all a heads up, and if you fail to heed my warning, it's on you. The papers and ephemera from these kits are phenomenal. While on your way over to etsy .... you will use these kits forever. .... stop at the website of your favorite supplier and pick up extras on papers and ink. There's is real shame, for me, anyway, that creators have to watermark and use reduced images on their etsy shop so people will.not steal their work. And I often convert the pdf files to jpg to adjust the color, or make them larger, but that's not necessary at all. These are gorgeous. I like printing pages full size, so I set the adjustment on my printer to borderless, and it works everytime. Sorry to ramble. The envelopes are beyond gorgeous. Happy crafting! Patricia
@@calicons3 well, it depends on your printer. If you have a laser printer it will never print borderless. If you have one of the first Gen eco tank, I think by Epson, it will nit. I have a canon that I love because each color has its own cartridge, unlike the hps I had for yrs. The canon does borderless and 2 sided printing, and the hps ive had literally since the late 90s have a borderless feature. What you do, is click print icon or cntl p and when the print menu comes up, you want to click show more options, or words to that effect. Now this is printing canon pdf, on the canon you have to click again the hyper link which takes you to your preference page, and just click borderless. It's pretty much the same for hp. You want to click on preferences, then you might have to manually click portrait or landscape. Then click on borderless. Then it's going to bring up the paper menu, which is usually glossy photo, just click on it and click on plain paper or cardstock, whatever you are printing. Then it may ask you to apply, then takes you back to the actual print first page and just click print. I know that sounds monumental, but honestly it takes no time, 30 seconds max, once you know where to find the printer preference page. Borderless does deposit ink on each side of printer, so if you are printing tags, etc, that are not borderless, keep the regular parameters to help keep those end areas clean. Again, it is MUCH EASIER than my wordy directions. Also consult your manual, which you can find on line. What I would suggest is you practice using the draft mode and black and white so you don't use your color inks. Another tip, buy non brand name inks. The brand names use the exact same ink and manufacturer as the non brand. And take advantage of sales. This summer amazon had a 2 day sale, I got replacements for $13 and bought several sets. The same seller now sells them for $26. Sorry I'm so wordy.
@@3rscrafting No worries. I have an older HP Photosmart that prints wonderfully, but I've looked at both the computer software and the printer, and neither has that option. Would be really nice if it did. I'll try saving my files as PDF and see if that works. Thanks for your tips 👍
