Why do you only adjust for toe shape and zero drop? What about foot volume? Or is the elastic meant to handle all that?

We did all kinds of calculations in foot measurements in the course and elastics that is constructed correctly takes care of many aspects.

Just to repeat the height question: the muscles giving width also give arch height, is there a case for pulling a reverse mould from the lasts to check? Yes, the elastics offer something, but we need some waterproofing.

To be honest- didn't understand your question. please explain

@@SKDEZIGN It's not just wide feet, true barefoot builds muscles as the foot isn't supported. In my case, it gave me a high instep as well as breadth (H), so my FiveFingers are still a very tight fit.

@@JelMainDefently not just width. But the design gives the right manipulation for high instep too. If you just make it wide, how wide? That is why here it is customized specifically for you to spread all 5 toes and on the other hand, the design gives support not just for the wide feet, but to everything that comes later ( just as it happened to you)

@@SKDEZIGN Many thanks, this is starting to move away from the fashion diktat which leaves so many women with deformed feet. Not as bad as Chinese bound feet, but definitely in the same camp. The reason I was cautious is that the same thinking was true of barefoot technology when it first appeared, "you don't need high sizing as well."
