First out of the box is booklet from Sur La Table, which contains a few recipes and other tips.
Next is a little guarantee, and various discounts and advertisements.
Inside the second box, there is yet a third, containing the Instant Pot itself, as well as directions and a cookbook.
The pot itself comes with a pressure sealing lid, with a new pressure release system. As well as a stainless steel inner pot to actually store food. Stored inside the inner pot are some typical accessories, such as spoons, a measuring cup (which is not a standard american measuring cup), a condensation catcher, a steaming rack that fits in the inner pot, and the plug.
The new display mode is much simpler and easier to use, simply turn the wheel to power it on, as well as select different cooking presets. Pushing the button on the wheel allows you to change settings, and the two buttons on the bottom will cancel or start the cooking process.
Another new feature is a removable cord, which makes it far easier to store and carry.
Some of the exclusive new features include: A digital display, A cooking progress indicator, A pressureless setting, temperature adjustment, a new pressure release setting and an ultra setting, which allows you to change pressure, temperature, and time all from one menu. It can also memorize settings for favorite recipes, as well as memorize altitude for pressure adjustment.
