I'm envious of the number of great bows you get to review day after day . It appears that every day in Malta is a great day to go outside and fling some arrows. The weather always looks incredible.
Snappy little shooter, me likes! Would fit my midget arms just nicely😁 Thank you Armin for donning your sweater and braving the cold Malta weather to review this bow for us😉 And thanks Frankie for sharing your bow.
Such a beauty, always liked those pocket-sized bazookas of Yours Armin.Keep up with Your excellent presentations, even an old archer can learn something new & useful from them! :)
Oohh my... Unfortunately for the string and the bridges, but I always curious about the shooting, after I saw it I thinks it is very nice and accurate too... Thanks for the video Armin 🙏 and for the bow Frankie
Defiantly a pretty bow. The design on the face of the leather makes it look really nice and elegant. Got a bitey sound to it. I like the description you gave on arrow weight for bows. Kinda makes it sound more what you vs measurements. Sometimes a supplier will tell you what they recommend, but a different GPP feels better shooting with the bow.
Very nice bow. really liked the review. You showed again admin that you manage an impartial and honest review. Even having a a first not so good impression. I thought was great the comment about GPP. and this string... this odd broken string... but maybe it was an accident with your knife admin. check TC 1:05 and 1:29. I want to go shoot tomorrow!
Hello Armin Ustath, did you Ever experience a Sharp pain in the Thumb that you could never Draw the bow without a Thumb ring? it's been almost a Month and i can't even draw a 30 pound bow with my thumb unless i use a thumb ring, i get this Extremely sharp pain in my middle thumb bone, do you have any remedies that maybe you came across and worked?
Armin, have you done a video on the accuracy potential of current asiatic bows vs modern western-style recurves? I hear archers and target shooters say that you can't be as precise/consistent/accurate with an asiatic bow. Not sure if that's fair or misinformed on their part, given that these bows aren't well known by most.
My concerns about that bow are not the string (I make my own Flemish Twist strings, it's easy) , not the string bridges (a bit of light sanding will fix that) and not the fact that its made from fiberglass (most modern bows do have some)... It's fast, beautiful and practical for hot climates (I'm Australian, no de-lamination is a consideration) All great advantages. My problem is that it's too short for me. I use Slavic Draw and my poor fingers would suffer... My only hope is to get a thumb ring and to learn thumb draw... so it's back to school for me !
Before you invest in a thumb ring, just get a piece of scrap leather and fabricate some sort of thumb protector (there are plenty of designs out there), that way you can check whether thumb shooting is your cup of tea or not. The thumb ring rabbit hole goes deep, trust me :D
Surprisingly good performance, interesting f-value! But other than the flaws Armin mentioned, I don't like the design; the siyahs are way too bulky for my taste and the decoration looks like 'printed'. But price/performance wise a very good bow!

almost, now we get into the rainy season. but mostly the weather is fine :D

One of my favorite videos so far
Nice fibre glass bow. Siyahs look nice. Too bad for the string.extremely kind review. 207fps is amazing
that looks promising, the string is plain dangerous in my opinion though, especially with sharp bridges. Keep going strong!!

as you could see, I only cut through the outer layer of the packaging. two more layers to come
You are totally motivated at the beginning of this video, aren't you?! 😉
Interesting bow...
awesome video 👍
could you make a review of one of joe gibbs bows?
if he has a 50# er and is willing to send it to me hahahah
Damn, that looks beautiful.. id never be able to pull 50 pounds though- Trying to build the muscle for a 38 pound Tatar bow, love the videos :)

Hi David. Sorry to hear. Never happened to me. I just started with low poundage until my thumb got kind of used to it. Never had any problems.
Thanks for the review!

it is planned, I just need a western style recurve for that :)
That would be a fantastic video. I think having a shelf does help with consistency.
@@ArminHirmer Good to know ʕ ・ᴥ・ʔ
For me it's the length of the bow. More stability with longer limbs. Much more forgiving of your mistakes
What are the lightest arrows you can shoot with 40lbs bow and not to break the bow?
depends on the bow
Personally I think anything below 7gpp is dangerous
Is that glove you have on a better option than a thumb ring ?
for me personally yes up to this poundages
Awesome recurve bro! You know how to tweak a bow!

Hi. Ich hab viele Videos gemacht, AF, Alibow, Vegh haben gute laminate aber auch Fiberglas Bögen. Imre Nagy aus Ungarn macht gute Bögen recht günstig

Armin you say this bow is safe for hot environments. I guess, it would be good for wet weather countries too.
yes of course
Looks pretty nice just need’s some attention to the details. 👍🏼🏹🇺🇸
Indonesian Bow again..😃, after watching this video, I plan to order one for me..🙂

Nice looking bow! Scary with that string rubbing those sharp edges! Not fun when strings come undone! Ouch!
Love the glove! Where could a guy get one?
Thanks. the glove is from Freddy Archery
Fascinating review :-)
Master maybe a comparison with the integrel FRP?
don't have them anymore and AF does not have them in their line up either anymore. and I am no master :)
I tend to stick to 10gpp

i know the bowyer he is still young just couple months learn bow making but manage to mass produce
I've just talked to odd bow and he told me that 30 inch is no problem for this bow.
I think so too, yet no info is a problem for everyone who is buying this bow

I have that feeling with Korean bows. Stickers on a bow is the cheapest looking thing. Looks terrible.
its painted
@@Daylon91 Depends what korean bow maybe skywalk by daylite isnt most traditional looking but other options are out there namely the taegeuk hornbow
This is basic T1 from OddBow, old design I presume.
mr armin i bet you have soo many bow now enough to make a small army out of it 😂😂😂😂😂😂
most of the bows I show are not mine :)

The string is a bummer.
It can happen but it should not. He will replace it
The title is wrong
I know, just saw it and fixed it. stupid autocorrect :D
I would be very careful to buy from odd bow.
I have sent him money but never received the bow and he isn't responding to any messages.
