    I'm envious of the number of great bows you get to review day after day . It appears that every day in Malta is a great day to go outside and fling some arrows. The weather always looks incredible.

    Thank you Armin for donning your sweater and braving the cold Malta weather to review this bow for us😉
    And thanks Frankie for sharing your bow.

    that looks promising, the string is plain dangerous in my opinion though, especially with sharp bridges. Keep going strong!!

    Defiantly a pretty bow. The design on the face of the leather makes it look really nice and elegant. Got a bitey sound to it. I like the description you gave on arrow weight for bows. Kinda makes it sound more what you vs measurements. Sometimes a supplier will tell you what they recommend, but a different GPP feels better shooting with the bow.

    Armin, have you done a video on the accuracy potential of current asiatic bows vs modern western-style recurves? I hear archers and target shooters say that you can't be as precise/consistent/accurate with an asiatic bow. Not sure if that's fair or misinformed on their part, given that these bows aren't well known by most.

    • @ArminHirmer
      @ArminHirmer  3 года назад +2

      it is planned, I just need a western style recurve for that :)

    Very nice bow. really liked the review. You showed again admin that you manage an impartial and honest review. Even having a a first not so good impression. I thought was great the comment about GPP. and this string... this odd broken string... but maybe it was an accident with your knife admin. check TC 1:05 and 1:29.

    My concerns about that bow are not the string (I make my own Flemish Twist strings, it's easy) , not the string bridges (a bit of light sanding will fix that) and not the fact that its made from fiberglass (most modern bows do have some)...
    It's fast, beautiful and practical for hot climates (I'm Australian, no de-lamination is a consideration) All great advantages.
    My problem is that it's too short for me. I use Slavic Draw and my poor fingers would suffer... My only hope is to get a thumb ring and to learn thumb draw... so it's back to school for me !

    • @Lionall
      @Lionall 3 года назад

      Before you invest in a thumb ring, just get a piece of scrap leather and fabricate some sort of thumb protector (there are plenty of designs out there), that way you can check whether thumb shooting is your cup of tea or not. The thumb ring rabbit hole goes deep, trust me :D
