I think mist 1/8 filter is the must for "emulating" film look.
Incorrect. People confuse diffusion filters with the film look. Diffusion filter help make it look like older glass...the film look can still use clean glass.... just another big lie created by the common youtuber. Film is a mix of color density, grain, halation, and a specific milky contrast curve. Has nothing to do with diffusion. I don’t even use diffusion filters on my current lineup of lenses.

Curious to see what you think of the Gen 5 color update and how BRAW stacks up against the Redcode.
I went back and re color graded this with gen 5. Def gives it a better buttery type look. But still doesn’t touch the Komodos raw. I’d still pick the blackmagic over mirrorless or 10 bit or pro res
@@cammackey Curious as im trying to learn more: is 10bit prores that much worse than braw? I wouldve figured you would like zcam over BM based off your old videos
@@nawdik after working with the two intensely.. the zcam is great, the footage has a punch to it. But BRaw, when doing more in-depth grades, looks way better. I hate the pocket 4ks body tho, zcam was built great.
