This debacle reminds me of the when the Carter administration tried to use the military to mount a rescue after Iran took our embassy employees hostage and the mission failed miserably. It seems our two most inept presidents have military leaders and forces that are incapable of producing a successful mission plan and deployment. Perhaps a focus on engagement, strategies and readiness is a better idea than all the woke nonsense that is being pushed on our troops? Along with the Afghanistan catastrophe, Biden now has 2 very public and humiliating disasters that have, again, shown the world what an incompetent commander-in-chief he is. It's no wonder our enemies have no fear and continue to be emboldened to do whatever they feel like, secure in the knowledge Biden's forces are of no consequence with him at the helm. The only thing holding them at bay is the election in November and the likelihood of a Trump victory. But if Biden somehow wins re-election all bets are off and we will see escalation after escalation as our enemies will have free reign with Sleepy Joe in charge.
