    What a great voice Mr. Cullum has!

    Very enjoyable! Mr Cullum demonstrates dynamic range, vocal resonance with quality intonation, and charismatic stage presence and makes it look easy. It's not.

    Gosh, yes, the incredible John Cullum, so precise in his pronunciation, so completely classy with that raspy baritone, he was something very special. If you ever get a chance to hear him sing 'I Rise Again' from the Broadway musical, 'On the Twentieth Century' you will appreciate it. He acted through his voice, could be dark, tender and then operatic, all in the same song, wow, always showstopping.

      He also performed that in this concert, and it's in my Playlist.

    This is GREAT, and I LOVED him in 1776. Some years ago, his son J.D. starred in Master Harold and the Boys at the Virginia Stage Company/the Wells Theater in Norfolk, VA. After the show, there was a Q&A session. Someone behind me asked a question. I turned around to see that John Cullum was asking the question/making a comment. My best friend and I nearly freaked out!

    In my car on the way to work, I sometimes sing along with John on the CD player. Begins the day beautifully, and as I step out of the car, I feel I can do anything.

    Wow it seems like the orchestra at the end started the final "ever more" too early, and Cullum still managed to finish without missing a beat! Such a phenomenal talent.

    • @Themanwhocameback2

      Yes, the orchestra f's up, but he just rises above it.

      @@Themanwhocameback2 since every member of the orchestra played the music that was in front of them and stayed together flawlessly perhaps it is Mr. Cullum who forgot what was decided on in rehearsal.

    • @emrot
      @emrot Год назад +1

      @@stevepotfora7461 I think you are right. That wave to the conductor, as Mr Cullum leaves the stage, and the slight shake of the head are conclusive, I think. But what a singer and what a pro!

    • @Arkelk2010
      @Arkelk2010 Год назад

      It seemed to me that the orchestra was trying to play faster than Mr. Cullum wanted throughout. Should have been negotiated in rehearsal.
