    Yeah ur method was quite intuitive and i somehow knew that u will be sharing this approach only , so i tried using binomial
    I also found a pattern 😁

    Sir, It is easy when you see a pattern in the trace of the matrix rather than using binomial.

      Pattern method is deliberately rejected in this video. Because we wanted to discuss binomial concept.
      Also it's not about trace.
      What if he asked the sum of all elements?

    Sir, this can be solved orally.
    Trace is sum of eigen values.
    If a is an eigen value of matrix A, then a^k is eigen value of A^k.
    Since this is upper triangular matrix, diagonal elements are eigen values.
    Eigen values of A are 3 and 1.
    Therefore, eigen values of A^10 are 3^10 and 1.
    Therefore trace of A^10 is 3^10 + 1.

      It's not about the trace. I used the trace just as an example. What about if we have to find the sum of all elements?

      This logic will only work for trace and determinant. But, determinant is straightforward. Det(A^10) = det(A)^10.
      Otherwise this will not work.
