Allowing street vendors look like third world countries ! Sad
You allow street vendors, and then wonder why all your actual stores are shutting down.
many of us do not want street vendors, but the people in power fight for those selling it illegally.
Everything is sold on the street...including food and then you wonder why brick and mortar stores keep closing. The city is not receiving any taxes and running a deficit now. Soon all roads and sewage will also be broken since the city is cutting short on those expenses.
Good reasons to move.
These bozos created this problem
This bill will not change anything from criminal stealing and deter fencing operation. Citation means nothing nor will change current state of rampant retail crimes. We need prosecution and prison time for these criminals keep stealing from our retail business. Misdemeanors or citation is just slap on wrist. This bill will not scare retail thefts.
I never understood why any street vending is legal. It’s just not a problem elsewhere. This is loitering plain and simple.
BTW, I’m a democrat, from big blue states out east. We sell Girl Scout cookies HERE, and we have to get all sorts of permissions ahead of time to put out a table of cookies for a non-profit, but anyone can sell stolen cvs goods and fruit anywhere anytime?! Just not an issue in other states. And most countries for that matter.
This happens in new York too
What happens when you steal from the thieves now that stores have gone out of business or toothpaste behind glass?
They need to have a press release conference about enforcing basic laws. Just wow.
Ca., has bigger things to worry about. AKA., a government that has made this beautiful state a target. One disaster at a time.
Good reason for you to move.
what’s left of all the rite aid
I'm still upset we don't have Taco Trucks On Every Corner.™️
Will liberal SF judges issue harsh sentences. Or will they be released as always?
Street vending is the least of your problem CA. Stealing is the problem
Street vending is the 2nd step after stealing, they go together
Walgreens were closing their Market Street stores…
Awfully sad to see a booming secondary economy gets suddenly taken down, no problem with chronic theft here.
First create a problem and then write bills to say you're solving the problem. No thanks Wiener.
tired seeing these BILLS
The bay area always slow in fixing the problems you can see miles away.
We aren't miles away, but sounds like you are.
really? 360p? is this channel from the Tec city?
Higher resolutions will be available later
Lol, you mean it's still legal to steal? But you can't sell it where you stole it? Ahahaha thank you cali!
San Mateo has Taco and more trucks everywhere, as well as the popsicle vendors, fruitcup vendors. Next will be Chicharron frying by the sidewalks. I enjoy those in Mexico, just wondering how they affect Restaurants?
Long overdue!
A day without immigrants one day then crackdown on their livelihood the next day?

What race are Latinos?
@MiMiiViVi well judging based upon your attitude you probably think BLACK is a race, which would make the race of a latino BROWN😂😂
