Nice fix. . I have an old set of HFT ones 15yrs now still work great key os to keep the metal working surfaces clean....I built a stand for them to be able to store them away in a corner...but have yet to add a the rods and springs for foot actuation looking at yours I like the quick release pins at the handle part will be using that thanks for sharing.
