Everybody in the comments talking about “we say this in *insert city*”.....that doesn’t mean it didn’t originate in NYC. The only reason everybody knows these nowadays is because NYC was the beginning of hip hop music which is now today’s most popular genre which dominates social media feeds. Everybody has access to hearing other people’s slangs and accents now. But trust me if you go to nyc....the way New Yorkers say “mad”, “son”, and “deadass” sound real different and 10x more frequent in one conversation. We say “son” in dc and it don’t sound nothing like how they say it in nyc, but we know where it originated.

Or it's a few lil jawns in here tonight (attractive women or men) or oh you think you a jawn (you think you cute) it's just a multi use word if you're ever in philly you'll hear that word along with drawlin (doing the most) outta pocket (crazy)... nut ass or nutty (corny or punk) ocky/ock(fake) sawdy/sick (when you think something is going to happen and it doesn't) slide(come or go somewhere)say less ( like say nomore) bull(person) oldhead, (older person) young bulls (kids) we say dickhead a lot too jokingly or seriously. Oh and that's dead yo! (Not letting that shit happen or I ain't with it) dead also means dry or boring. That's Chalked( I'm not doing it period) lol I can go on and on ya'll!

We have our own unique words and phrases, wayyy more than what I listed, as well as you guys.
