David I will give you the secret tonusing tap water safely and use immediately...use the same product that you would use for rt your aquarium water I have found this the safest and fastest way to purify your water.. works great. P.S. you could always put charcoal for aquarium in a clean as ock and run water thru it works great as well.

@@DavidMoralesPlants the liquid you used to remove chlorine from the aquarium water can be used for your plants. It also removes the other bad chemicals the city puts in water. We filter our drinking water as well? our water smells like a bleache bottle. It is yuck so we always filter and treat otherwise I'm sure we would all be dead.
And it's cheaper than buying 30 gal of water from Walmart every 2 weeks like me until I learned this.

Do you add any additional humidity or your plants keep your place humid enough? I’m running my heat and I hope my FLF makes it through winter. I do run a small humidifier but I doubt it does anything. Maybe if I had a confined space it might work but I have mine in an open area.
Sending ya positive vibes with your fiddle girly 💚 and honestly San Antonio is pretty humid. My apartment is humid even more when I make food or do laundry. As well when I water plants which is every other day or so
They make stuff on the Internet that glows around your sofa with a plastic so they can’t scratch it. I bought some from my chairs.

@@DavidMoralesPlantswe also have scratching posts that we attach to the wall. Maybe they like the stretch while scratching. One of my cats still scratches the couch because she’s sassy
My chameleon ZZ takes tons of light to get the lighter color otherwise its new growths will be a regular green color. Ur place is so beautiful 🌿💚!!!!!

David you can add a curtain rod or old ladder to ceiling, you can hang several plants and only need a couple of holes. There’s so many ideas for renters out there.

22:37 that plant is so cute. I have them planted in my yard and they come up every year. One time I had a planter with dirt so I threw it away but apparently it missed the trash and landed upside down. One day I go out and there’s a plant growing out of it lol. It was one of these 😅

The mealy bugs are in the soil. Perhaps you can drown the pot for some hours or replace the soil completely.
Yessss I gotta tackle the mealybugs in the soil. I focus too much on foliage cause that’s where I see them but I forget that they hide down there. 🙃
