Nope. Akuma has always been a character with low health points (HP). In the context of the Street Fighter series, his low HP is a deliberate design choice to balance his abilities and make him a more challenging character to play.

What’s worse is that street fighter 6 is the most combo based game in the series (only SFV comes close). If Ryu does an error, half of his health could just be gone, So just imagine Akuma
What I’m saying is, either they buff Akuma to make him into the demon he once was. Or they just give him an average health bar
