A Mitutoyo, the gold standard of digital calipers, doesn't do half as much but can set you back $400.

$216 NZ. OUCH (Or you get the ‘Pro’ version for $408). And then add taxes onto that. Ummm. No thanks.

Hey Chris. Which microphones do you use? Your voiceover is nice and warm.

I use an Audio Technica AT2020 for my voice overs. Hope that helps!

Does it have the same precision as a caliper of comparable price? This seems like a more bulky digital caliper with some of the features missing. And if it's not as precise, I wouldn't use it over good calipers. The division feature is super cool, but is it worth the massive price?

Yeah, if it was me, I'd just buy digital calipers. I have really noticed the lack of the stick that slides out the back end of normal calipers. The division is handy, but I use that stick a lot more.

I would love to have this for the division feature but it's a bit too pricey. Great review!

"Isn't this just a cheapo digital caliper from some random bran-"
    > The division feature in ruler mode
Take my cash right now! I don't know why I've never thought about something like this before, but this is a pattern making godsend!
I realize you can do the same thing by measuring total length, dividing it, setting up a set of divider calipers on some measurement standard, then walking it along (or a billion other ways)... But having this as a standalone function is suuuuch a convenience!
