Hello, quick question, I shave my head every 2 to 3 days with the Braun Series 9 Pro and I'm also very satisfied with the result, but do you think the Arc 6 will shave my head closer than the Braun Series 9 Pro? or will it be pretty much the same ? I'm curious :)
Without trying the Braun, but based on prior research, the 9 Pro will be smoother, but the Arc 6 will still produce a pretty clean shave, likely a bit cleaner. The issue is which of those two would you prefer, if a clean shave is important for your head, you'd likely be better off with the Arc.
do you have to still clean it in the sink before the cleaning station or can you just go straight for the cleaning station? also how long does one of the cleaning packs last?
I have 10 of these shavers yeah you should rinse it under the sink to get rid of the hairs and then stick it in cleaning station it stops hairs going in the solution .incase you wondering why I have 10 I can’t be bothered buying new blades so I just throw the a shaver away every 6 months instead I no it’s lazy
How does it shave underneath the nose, shaving off the mustache area and around the mouth, since the ACR 4 , ARC 5 wasn't better then the ACR 4, I just had to get used to it. Thanks for your opinion and the video.
It's a little large, but to be honest it does a pretty good job as long as you do that weird face move where you elongate your lower lip like you're trying to not sneeze... I don't know if that's a clear description...
@@NerdNewsSocial It actually is lololol, but I do that with the ARC 5 and the head on that takes up a lot of real estate, but I do have to do a few passes to get the job done, I will be moving in to the ARC 6 once the prices come down for everyday people, Thanks for the reply and the video, all the best.
For me, it has not catched all the hairs. I am going to have to see what works best. I am only two shaves in, excellent head shaver. Panasonic recommends starting off wet shaving for 3 weeks to get use to the cutting of the Arc 6. I am going to follow that. I did have irritation for the first time I wet shaved underneath my goatee. This morning no irritation, but missed some hairs.
Very informative, from someone who has never used a quality electric shaver is it true that even the top end models like this one cannot match a shave as close as that from a regular razor such as say a Gillette mach 3? Thanks.
So with regards to the 9 Pro, if you are getting the razor for the power case, I get it but don't honestly ever feel like I run out of juice. Another major selling point for the 9 Pro is that it can cut longer hair without issues. The benefits of the 9 Pro vs the Series 9 are clear, but me personally I'd probably still stick with the Arc6 due to the cleaner shave. If I have let the hair grow too long, I'd just use the built in trimmer on the Arc6. Hope that helps. Either way they are both awesome razors.
@@NerdNewsSocial thank you. Another question do you think the price will drop a little bit during holidays or is it too early for that? I'm leaning towards the Arc 6 just because of the cleaner shave for my head.
@@FreeTruly it's possible for a minor reduction, but probably not enough to be a deciding factor for waiting. Since these types of razors are high end luxury items reductions don't normally go too low. Better sale times would probably be before fathers day.
How do you like it? I am only two shaves in, but man there is a difference. Any tips on face shaving? It is missing hairs on my face like the Braun does. @@FreeTruly
Bought Braun 9 pro + and arc 6 for testing. Braun holds battery better. But arc 6 is way better shaver, you get faster and closer shave. Both of them shave smootly, but due to ultimate performance kept arc 6.
You make good videos. Please get a High definition camera or phone. This video is in 480p and very blurry. An HD camera can be purchased for less than you paid for that razor.
Both are amazing shavers with great features. They truly are great models from either company. I always think preference in a brand edges out in how close companies like these rate, but for pure stats, the Arc 6 performs a cleaner shave, but as for comfort due to the reduction of one of their rollers in the 6 blade model of the Arc, you might get a little more comfort with the Braun. As for the cleaner, the Arc 6 cleaning station knocks the Braun out of the competition, so if you are considering that addition (which I personally recommend) then get the Arc 6!
The trimmee setting is pretty solid, it's not going to give you a super clean or comfortable shave but will handle tight spaces, and help set you up for the actual razor. I'd give it a 8.5/10 in comparison only to trimmers.

You could have showed us a closer look after using the Arc 6 because i cant see how close of a shave it can get
I read in the manual that the battery only lasts for 3 years. Does Panasonic replace them? What is the cost?

You didn't mention how it shaved your neck hairs? Against the grain? Smooth?
Normally I shave against the grain on my neck, like a fool. However, it's still pretty smooth.

I love the self clean feature. It takes a bit but I've never seen a more clean razor!

Nothing beats the shave of a quality razor like a Mach 3 and others.

Hi. What is the difference between the Panasonic Arc 6 that"s $399 vs the Panasonic Arc 6 that's $499?
Easy, the $399 does not include the self cleaning station.
@@NerdNewsSocial Thanks for the super fast response
Can you put a Link where you get the replacement heads from please?
At this point the only place I was able to purchase them was Ebay from Japan.
Amazon has these:

Does the battery percentage screen also function as a shave timer/clock?
The screen functions primarily as a battery, operation status, and cleaning reminder.

How to charge it on the go?
Just bring the power cord and plug it into a wall!

4:50 we show the plug on the unit.

What a close shave...
Any shaving tips for the face? It does great on the cheeks, but not so great under the jawline and chin. I am hoping its operator error.
I am having the same issue with Arc 5. I had an older model which has disappeared and it did a better job.

Didn't do much about the mustache 😂.
Lol, it can only help what you shave with it.
