Having played every game with Al Nassr this season doesn't automatically show that Ronaldo is fit to play full matches in the Euros. The intensity is obviously different and the reporter did a good thing by pointing that out.

Ronaldo is obviously capable of running 90 minutes. I don't think you watched but just the past month he played 120mins against Al Hilal which is quite a superb team, as good as a mid-table Prem side I would say. And I saw him, he was making sprints and challenging the ball right to the death. He has the stamina 100%, its just his physicality to shield the ball which has drastically gone down. I’m a very big Messi fan, but CR7 has in my opinion a body type that can still play for many years. Reminds me of Maldini in those terms, he was a guy that could also play till forever if you saw him. Of course something’s will change but he can manage it certainly.

I am a Messi fan but I completely disagree with the reporter's stance. Ronaldo brings goals, experience and a winning mentality.
There was no hate from the reporter it was a fair question. No matter how great Ronaldo is he is not getting younger. This is a fact. In addition it was backed up by the valid statement that the intensity in SA is much less than that in the Euro tournament. This is also a fact.
The coach answered in an excellent and respectful way not only stating the cliche answer that Ronaldo is a great player, but also elaborating deeper about the last 12 months and Ronaldo's physical performance stats. These are also facts.

Exactly was the head coach says. He brings experience. It can be really difficult for a great squad, getting their head together in a tournament like this, and CR7 is a rallying point. Portugal aren’t playing like headless chickens, they all subit to CR7 and he wants to win. They’re much more organized and there’s more team spirit and cohesion when he conducts it.
