Let's Animate (Sort of): Simon Goes Mad With Power

This was originally going to be a very educational and insightful look at how I animate. Well, maybe that's what it wound up being anyway. Point is, sanity is a very fragile thing.
My favorite part was around 1:07-1:12 where you just started nonsensically "braying" because you were so frustrated. I don't animate or draw, but I've been there...when you just don't have any more words. I think we all have! ;p
It was cool to see how you animators put together these things! Don't get discouraged that this first Let's Animate didn't go how you planned. I'm sure you learned a great deal. Write down a list of things you want to do better and try again. Remember, you don't have to talk the entire time. And you can also speed up the video on some parts, just like Sjin does in his Let's Build series. :)

After rewatching the main video I congratulate you, as someone clearly dislikes straight lines, for drawing the proper box-esque minecraft heads and hands :D

Drawing people would be so much easier if nobody had hands and just laid down all the time.

Do you use a drawing tablet? If so what type?
I use a Wacom Bamboo tablet. Nothing too fancy, but I like it.

That program would be Adobe Flash. Most likely CS6

Animating and drawing in flash is very difficult. Any tips or good tutorials?
Stick around and I should have a tutorial up soon. Some quick tips: definitely use a tablet, and play around with the brush settings if you haven't already. Pressure and smoothing makes things look nice.
