@@JBrander They can be 150% in very rare cases, but 175% and 200% is average for systems with a star. If its not higher the only thing you should care about is the Volatiles :D
Part of what makes a "good gas giant" is the moons. You want one with no atmosphere and decent minerals for fuel production/mining/refining. If the gas giant has extreme heat that works well too, because the military patrols will protect both colonies.
True, but he didn't even checked the barren planet next to it. It's a barren, so it is extremely likely no atmosphere. And then again, if I can find a +2 Gas Giant, without planets next to it, I will build a station or two next to it and make that neighborhood myself.
@@khaoscualdawath I'm not picky anymore when it comes to gas giants because you can't put a synchrotron in them anymore. Unless you want to expand beyond size 3, then 200% hazard is more than good enough.

Now to wait 5 streams for him to figure out he can gain money by putting farming on even poor farmland... and then still not having orbital works to give the farmland heavy machinery it needs to run because he decided on a salvage yard instead.
In Nexerelin you can create "Special Task Group" by talking to your Station Commander (there is a "Create a special task group" Option) - you can then give said task group ships and configure it somewhat (e.g. set it to independent mode where it will fly to planets being invaded to try and fend of the attacker, same for AI Inspections) They can also be setup to follow you, however haven't used that extensively yet.
You need to work in United Aurora Federation into your mod list. It adds a fully featured spread of ships that are midline shields/armor focused on dakka and fighters. Plus it’s got nuclear torpedoes and catgirls. Not on the mod index yet, so you have to search the modded section of the forum
