More with this camera / lens combo please lol
What a video! Can you show us more from this combo of camera and lenses please! I’m thinking about buying both and seeing this high quality shortfilms with the new bm and the blazers are awesome 🙏
Thanks :) I will definitely upload more footage, this is the 65mm and it's super sweet with lots of character! Feel free to subscribe for more:)
Lovely footage! Damn B&H has had them on backorder for almost 3 months now, I finally gave up and ordered the 45mm direct from Blazar. Can't wait to start shooting with it! Did you end up cropping the top and bottom a bit to output in a 2.4:1 aspect ratio, or did you export in a 2.25:1 aspect ratio (assuming you filmed in 3:2 Open Gate on the BM)?
Thanks man! Yeah that's definitely the better move. The support is responsive and it took 1-2 months till I got my hands on this one:) I didn't crop. I've been a little lost with the math but it should be a 2.25:1 so almost 2,3:1 :P
@@janhillmann The math involved with shooting anamorphic can get pretty wonky for sure! I did a deep dive into anamorphic lenses in one of the videos on my channel. If you're curious about digging into the math a bit, check out that video :)
Nice footage,is this on a gimbal cause it looks pretty stable to me ??
Yes it is:)
@@janhillmann did you use also any post stabilization, cause with my rs3 pro and Bmpcc 6k pro I never get that stable footage.Thank you for your reply!
No, no stabilization was added in post. But the blackmagics are certainly hard to balance on the Ronins. Did you calibrate the gimbal after balancing?
Yeah I did, also tried both normal and smooth modes but I always get some kind of shakiness.I have even tried another one of a friend but same results…I don’t know man it is really frustrating
Nice footage! How did you get the Pyxis?
I didnt its still the bmcc6k but they share the exact same sensor so the footage will be identical:)
Lol this is the definition of clickbait. Cameras with the same sensor are not automatically identical. The FX3, A7SIII, and ZV 1 are not identical, for example.
@@iono_ritmo then maybe the processing is different and you might be right, but Grand Petty himself advertised it as the exact same sensor just in a different box, why would he do that if the image differs
This „new“ pyxis sensor is gonna show the same bad performance in low light as the bmcc6k with issues starting at iso 2000 believe me
