Video is 100% correct when it come to the Porsche GT3 experience. To be completely honest, this experience has to be in real life for you to really understand!
Sick car, but get in the 992 gt3 or gt3 rs even better than previous generation, these cars are made for the track and need to experience a track day in this motor you’ll be even more blown away
I don't understand the hype around the GT3. 90 % of people using it never take advantage of its chassis and aero, because it is more relevant at track usage and to fine tune track times. however, the engine, is by comparison with others, nothing special to enjoy. From 6500 rpms onward you do feel some pull, but until there it is boring. If you are in a B road you have to squeeze the engine to feel anything...however, you pick an SLS also with a NA engine and it is a joy of an engine, with much stronger pick at any rev, amazing sound, exciting everywhere...maybe in the last revs the GT3 is more exciting in terms of sound that the SLS in the last revs, but overall, in the whole rev rang the SLS is much more fun. SLS is not so agile, but it is a blast!!.. Even the giulia quadrifoglio is more fun to drive than the GT3. the GT3 is an efficient car, but not the most fun or exhilarating.
I have a manual 991.2 gt3. So enjoyable. Best car imo I have driven including Lambos, Aston, ferrari, modded gtr35 etc. Not the fastest in a straight line, just the best all round. I have equal length manifolds that boost mid range torque, but still the best before that mod. I was also lucky enough to drive an SLS (presume this is the gullwing Merc). Lovely car, but, still, in my opinion, nowhere near the gt3 as a precision tool, more a reasonably sharp grand tourer, but felt a bit wallowy when pushed. Not driven a black series version, but they are big money.
