There are a lot of good videos about rapiers out there. There were are lot of different blade types that are lumped under "rapier". One one end, some are square cross section blades that couldn't cut through a t-shirt. Pure thrusting weapons. On the other are swords like this one where the blade is more akin to a medieval longsword than what most of us think of as a rapier. Then there is everything in between.
The Saxony Rapier and the Town Guard are both absolutley gorgeous!
Would love to see some cut tests for this one if you get the chance
Check out Kane Shen’s RUclips channel where he does a great review: impressive cutting. Very impressive for a rapier.
@@kevinc3751 scholagladiatoria described it as a longsword with a rapier hilt 😀. I like it. beautiful sword.
Great review👍 personally, I also like the calm bgm❤
very cool
The Buy Link says it can’t be found.
Seems more of a transitional type blade with a later rapier handle, I wonder how historically accurate this is. Still a very nice looking piece though
It is an exact reproduction of an existing antique. LK Chen has more on his website.

Looks cool but 3 pounds is a little heavy for a nimble sword.
It's about the balance
That's a very common weight for a rapier.
Rapier are somewhat heavier, them being lighter than a "normal" arming sword or longsword is a misconception.
