The reason why people didn't like him was because he was quiet. But I would be quiet if I was him because he is an outsider and is so emotionally torn he is only focused on revenge. To many small brained people don't recognise that.
+Jack warr Connor wasn't focused on revenge, he just wanted to get rid of the Templars, specially Charles Lee, so his people could be safe. But I agree with you, many people just wanted an Ezio 2.0 after Revelations and Connor is not like Ezio at all and that's why I love his character, he is quiet, yet very emotional.
+TheTrollerGamer Connor's character is noble if not honest. He fights not for revenge but because he's the only one that had too, he took it upon himself to sacrifice everything to go along with his conviction believing that one day... when the time come's he will succeed, the people will succeed.
Is there anyway for me to describe how much I love this game?? Ubisoft really needed a game such as this after Unity last year (although I did like it). The characters are very likable and also relatable. We all have that one sibling that we can't just always see eye-to-eye. Jacob comes across somewhat like Edward and Evie was more like Ezio or Altair. I enjoyed hearing and watching them bicker yet come together when it really counts. I really want to see more of them, and actually not looking forward to the next game because I'm having so much fun with this one!

I really love this. The characters are funny and witty. Jacob reminds me of the doctor from doctor who (11) with all his jests and jokes. Evie is a nice foil for Jacob. I honestly felt that starric ( I hope I spelt that right) was the most menacing Templar since Chesere ( I'm horrible at spelling) from AC Brotherhood. The way they hammer in how terrible Starric is, along with all the suffering of the people you see along the way. So all in all, this is my favorite AC game yet.

Fact is, many of us simply don't wanna play as evie. Especially not without Jacob. But ah well. Jacob is a bloke, so of course he got cut from a DLC which the narrative is essentially about Jacob.

After the stunt ubisoft pulled leaving Jacob out of the jack the ripper dlc, I just wanna see a sequal with Jacob. We didn't get the time with him as an older assassin, that we did get with evie. Jacob deserves more than ubisoft ever really give him to be honest.
I want to comment 3 things that i like about this video 1makes me want the game more 2the shroud was mentioned in AC2 nice job brining artifacts like that Ubisoft 3i would like to see more devices of Eden in future AC games.I been unlocking The Truth in AC 2 so far i see a lot of use of the Apple of Eden with electricity hope Ubisoft can do an AC game Tesla as an ally sorry for the long comment just bringing up some ideas great video tho 👍
Honestly this game had a lot going for it, I feel like they missed a lot of opportunities which sadly had it end up mediocre in almost every category, but it wasn't a bad idea. For it to make more sense in terms of ac lore Evie and Jacob should probably have been married instead of siblings, but I did like that dynamic tho. And then instead of making it tonally into a comedy with everything being caricatured and over the top, they should've instead focused on the grit and dirty reality of this time period. Gameplay wise they should have kept the combat from Unity, and used the two characters the same way GTA V did, where we would actually switch perspective during missions and solve problems this way. And they should have ditched the rope launcher and just accepted that they would have to make a game that focused less on parkour, but then maybe they could have added some other new element, like possibly a deeper social stealth system. And speaking of which there was lots of room to make unique characters who was more than just a "liberator" in this setting. Have Evie be a lady by day, ackowledged and recognised in the high society and and assassin by night. Have Jacob and his rooks be a more complex gameplay mechanic, where it's more about running a business front (with the hidden purpose of infiltrating the underworld of London) than just liberating child workers and beating up templar gangs. The entire idea of having these two be characters with actual lifes and social statuses, who have secret identities as assassins would have been an interesting new concept, with many gameplay possibilities that would have given the franchise change whilst still making sense tonally and could have made for a far better narrative

I've seen most of your videos and I think this is the worst. But I think is not your fault, it's the game's. This game has considerable less conflict and drama than any of the previous games. Even though the characters are likeable and the villain is cool, Jacob and Evie's sibling rivalry is not enough to make syndicate a memorable game and Starrick does nothing of relevance in the entire game but looking cool and threatening, and being the guy at the top.

it was a really fun game, not as serious as the others and how its showcased in the video but fun nonetheless
