I met KJ on the Riverdale set (my uncle worked on the show and let me visit). For the brief moment I talked to him he was VERY friendly and welcoming. He even said "it was lovely to meet you" on the way out about half an hour later and I was very surprised because I assumed he had forgot I was even there (I tried to stay out of everyone's way).
So yes, KJ Apa is nice.
