    I have the MPAS lite and I LOVE it. just ordered a 80m mad dog coil for it to allow me to get resonant out to 80m. the system is so fun to lego with.

      Lego is correct; I keep finding new set up options.
      I just picked up the Maddog...I think you'll be impressed. Intend to match it up with some of my Chameleon gear after the MPAS series.

    I'm glad you presented this Bob. I have been thinking about buying into the Chameleon system but, was a little confused about the modular idea. Now, I need to look and see what the difference is between those systems that you presented and see what they can do. Is there a difference? Thank you again Bob.

    • @HOAHamRadio
      @HOAHamRadio  4 месяца назад +1

      Each system has different configuration options. So your use case may play into the decision; how much space you have, how stealth do you need to be, are you after the fastest set up.
      I'll be doing vids on each system so maybe I'll stumble accross something that helps you think it all through.

    I love your approach to things. I am a big proponent of the Chameleon system and have almost all of their components except the Mil extension 2.0 and mil whip (which I sold off) I found better solutions for those 2 items. I am sure you would be very interested in them. Keep up the great work

    Question for Bob + the group:
    Will be renting an apartment on a country farm with plenty of big trees at the neighbor’s farm.
    If you had one wire antenna to throw up in a tree as a sloper or a dipole to the building roof for HF SSB - don’t need 160M, and 80M very optional. Will run no more than 100 watts. Permanent installation. What would you string up for an antenna, and how would you orientate it?

      @@JoeW7BWA The CHA LEFS 4010 will give you 40M, 20M 15M and 10M NO tuner. The rest will require a tuner.

    answer me this please. Can I use a 6foot copper waterpipe brayed into the soil leaving around 3 feet above the soil exposed. Then put my Cha Spike shape end into this copper pipe tis a tight fit but it does go in. Will this improve my set up would like the TDL too expensive over here in UK (They don't do Vetrans Discount or Emergency Sevices Discount over here). I own the Mpas 2.0 so all I need to complete the loop is another 17foot SS Whip and the Hub. Comtemplating going for the larger UnUn I use Digital modes quite a lot... I am waffling on Getting back on subject to the Cha Stake ( Medium Rare please) has anyone else used a water pipe internal Diameter 10mm the way I have?
