I’m sorry Alex but I totally disagree with the straddle grip :x i’ve learn a lot from you and I say thanks you for that but here I’m in a total disappointment :x
Love your stuff man! Just not this tutorial. I just love this move so much and perform it all the time so I would've liked to see it taught without the compromises on the grip.
Hey Alex, you got me interested into magic about 3 years ago when I was 13. I stopped practicing magic for a while because I didn’t think I was good enough and was always nervous when trying to show people my magic. You got me back into magic about a month ago with your videos.
I like your presentation. Using green deck and adding green branch of plant along with green diary with wooden table! And most importantly for these deals you used those cards which are having not white borders! This is why you are great ! Not everyone thinks like that!
Out of all false deals i like the greek deal the most because more often than you think you get called out on a bottom deal because they notice the bottom card chaned and yes you can hide it but i like to be open just lay the deck on the table not constantly think of hiding the bottom card i know this might sound like way to much thinking but i think when you even mind these small descrepencys your effects really become strong and for those who dont know what the greek deal is you are dealing the second card from the bottom the tecnique is the same as the center deal but since there is only one card in the way instead of like 20 when you do a center deal it is infinetly easier actually it is around the same difficulty as a bottom deal when i learned the bottom deal i needed like half an hour to learn the greek deal tecnique so if you know how to do bottoms definetly go learn the greek deal. When it comes to false shuffles i like the ITH false shuffle from lenard green the most it doesnt look perfect it looks messy but that is the best way to hide a false shuffle the messier it looks the more they gonna think there is no way there could be any control even of a single card in such a messy shuffle witch is golden so i think the theory of looking messy like youre not knowing what you are doiing has the best application in false shuffling when you do table work i would advice the push throught shuffle though many desire to make this one look the most graceful again i love doing this one messy and adding some even messier false cut like the black jack strip cut or something like that to add to the deception because i always fell like table riffle shuffle like the push through or the zarrow (with i dont like that much btw. the shade shuffle is a great alternative) only look good in a sequence of false shuffles and cuts if done on their own they actually look quite bad for me. So my list of false deal and false shuffles in terms of how much i use them, how deceptive they are for my magic and how they are fitting in my performance style is: False Deals: 1.Greek Deal 2.Bottom Deal 3.Second Deal 4. Center Deal (i dont use the center deal even if it fun practicing such a difficult sleight i find almost no use for it in my magic) False Shuffles 1.ITH False Riffle Shuflle 2.Push-Through Shuffle 3.Broken Bridge Shuffle 4.Vice Shuffle 5.Shade Shuffle Hope you find some use for the things i was mentioning and this comment helped somone.
Thanks for showing this method. I learned the harder version first, where you use the third finger to secretely loosen the bottom card from the deck before doing the bottom deal. In the shown version here it's very hard to loosen the bottom card - only with your right hand - to pull it off from the deck, especially when it's a full deck. A beginner will have no chance to learn it the way you showed it, especially when practicing with a older deck. Could you please show in more detail, how the actually make ready move to seperate the bottom card from the deck works, so it is reliable each time? Would be great. Thank you. Cheers
I’ve been trying to do the Erdnase method for a year and the deck shifts in my hands way too much as well as the fact that it doesn’t feel like a natural grip. This makes sense to me. Thank you!
Have you seen KardSharp's video? I really recommend you checking it out. He teaches the erdnase method and goes in full detail. (Ps: if you guys do, please tell him I said hi! 😉)
You and Daniel madison are giving so much on RUclips . Bottom deal is really professional move and it is been sold but you just give it on RUclips it's really amazing. Thank you very much for such exclusive videos 🙏🙏
If u want to learn it "properly" I suggest Daniel Madisons Bottom Deal Masterclass. I know, it costs 22 bugs but it's totally worth it :) As u said, it is a professionell move and it is way more than the move itself. I personally think there wasn't enough of this things around the bottom deal, for example angels or the way to hold the deck "naturally" :) x
@@ziadashraf2394 I'm sorry to disappoint u, but I don't trade knowledge. Also, I don't really need special or nice effects, just because I have all tools I need to make beautiful magic with more or less basic tecniques like lapping, different deals, false shuffles, controls and forces. If u really want to get those tools I would even suggest buying all his Masterclasses in the Collection. In my opinion at least it really is worth the money. Hope u got my point :) x
Thanks Alex I am now a multi mmillionair after winning multiple games of poker by cheating my way to the top and now I can afford multiple decks of the luxury nocs, again thankyou
He is very very clean in the bottom deal but... HOW CLEAN IS HIS SECOND DEAL!! He said "now i'm doing the second deal" but i wouldn't have noticed that if he didnt say that! So he can easily do an ACAAN controlling the card to the top and then dealing 30-40 cards using second deal and he's done! 😂😂 Thank you sir, i really appreciate your videos.
Bro... Been doing card magic for many years, never could get the hang of the bottom deal to be smooth enough to pass a 3rd grader's eyes, let alone hecklers and very observant adults... But, THIS explanation and tutorial is hands down the best I've ever seen for this method. Literally 15mins after going through the video a few times and I'm now bottom dealing like i always assumed impossible for me! After four decades of close-up and sleight of hand, I can finally bottom deal, lol. It's kinda embarrassing now that I think about it, hahaha. Thanks a lot bro, I truly appreciate it and I'm grateful for you taking your time and making videos. Old dogs can learn new tricks, especially from younger dogs that are constantly honing their skills.
I wonder what would be Daniel Madison's reaction on this film 😆. Enjoyed to learn this method, I still like the regular bottom deal more but thank you anyway
He would say 1: your grip should be THE SAME for your regular deals, second deals, bottom deals, Greek deals, centre deals etc. The fact that Alex demonstrates his second deal near the beginning of this video and he uses a totally different grip to his bottom deal is a big red flag. And 2) he would say don’t move your 2nd and 3rd fingers out of the way so much! Flashing super bad. Honestly, Daniel Madison’s 4-hour-long Bottom Deal Masterclass (in fact his entire Masterclass collection) is singlehandedly the best sleight-of-hand purchase I have ever made.
The bottom deal is definitely one of my favorite gambling moves! I learned it from Daniel Madison, and I think it's thanks to him that I enjoy the move so much!
In ECT it is stated that it is one of the most difficult sleights in all of card manipulation. Of course, some will get it faster, but by no means is it an easy sleight.
Oh damn... I thought I was the only one who bottom dealt like this. It's not 100% the same, but still, it's close enough that its validating after hearing all those other folks say there's only two useable bottom deals and if you do anything else, you have no clue what you're doing.
Decent beginner technique 👍🏻 if anyone wants to learn how to do this properly (without the flashing), I suggest everyone pick up Daniel Madison’s Bottom Deal Masterclass.
anyone got tips fpr getting the get ready constantly? i get stuck on my middlefinger all the time, but if i get it everything else works smooth und perfect, nice technique!
I've never been the best at the bottom deal. I'd say I'm a solid 5/10 but this method makes is SO much easier!!
