    you are explaining average too long and complicated... I would just add all receipt value together... divide it by units to get average.... Then multiply that by issues and would get same answer in 20 sec!!

      Yes you're right but for periodic weighted average pricing. One thing which he did wrong was not explaining the two average methods. 1 is Cumulative and second is periodic. He explained cumulative and you are talking about periodic.
