- Well folks just a quick update video as this will probably be the last vid for a few weeks now unless there are any developments that need to be shared , so basically today Faye took the @bsamotorcyclesofficial4932 GoldStar back to the dealership and then took me to the hospital then walk in centre and now back on the old antibiotics .
as always feel free to contact us .

If a doctor had recommended an antibiotic I.V. then I'd have fought my way to Salford for treatment. A few days can give an infection time to get a real grip and you don't want that (I speak from experience).
Fingers crossed (no pun intended) that the tablets do the job.
that is a really good art
Hope things improve soon for you both.
Aww thank you so much 👍🙏
Hope finger is sorted soon Shaun
You’ll have to try that new liquid antibiotic BEER get well soon matey
Fingers crossed you have a speedy recovery, on positive note Faye's pic looks amazing def show the finished master piece
Great pun
Lol no pun intended 😂
@@stevenlambert1895 ha ha, I think that’s why your comment is getting so many likes. I nearly went with “pull your finger out mate”.
Keep ya chin up mate.
great Chanel by the way
Get well soon 👊👊
Hi Shaun sorry you're having it tough at minute hope you're back on the bike soon!
If you're struggling with riding and making videos what about doing a rework of some of your past tours, a bit from each video making it into one trip video? I'd watch it and it helps the RUclips thing you mentioned.
Anyway hope you're healed and riding soon 👍🏻
I can commiserate with you on your pinky, Thursday morning I removed a chunk of my right thumb with a power saw.
Having survived 43 years in industry with just the odd scratch and splinter, l retire and do myself harm doing decorating.
Thankfully there is no tendon or bone damage so surgery is not needed but I did think of you while I was sitting in A&E.
Get well soon.
Ahh get well soon buddy, and (excuse the pun) fingers crossed for a speedy fix and recovery. Faye another cracking piece of artwork on the way there!
Keep your chins up and keep smiling.
Please let us all know how you are doing, Shaun. I'm sure everyone here is routing for you . 😊😊😊

Hi Shaun, have had my share of injuries and operations. Thank god for anti biotics and pain killers. Better than pouring spirits on the wound and biting on leather or wood. I had 40 stitches in an ankle and lower leg wound and it stunk to high heaven and white puss oozing and I felt like shit. It was post operative and like you I got bounced around medical care. I live alone and the hosp that did the op was 40 miles away. No Drs at the weekend. They eventually sorted it. I used to be a martyr to no medication like me dad but honestly take them antibiotics and pain killers if you need them. It will pass I was on an opiate called Tramadol for a month and was scared of addiction.when the pain stopped I stopped the tabs and no effects whatsoever. At least you have each other and Faye looks after you and you her when you can
Faye’s art is bloody amazing.
hope the infection clears up soon and to meet you both at ABR, will get Faye another baby Guinness like last year,

Hi Shaun + Faye, Gutted for you mate, that is typical about hospitals passing the buck got one hospital and they say you need to go to another and they say good back to the first hospital, you just don't know where to turn, I'm glad the medical centre sorted you out.

Hi shaun I hope get better soon and hopefully you get back on a bike soon
Hey buddy, hope it all gets better soon. Have a great weekend . At least you can still raise a pint or two for exercise 😁
#Shaun
Don't worry Mucka just keep popping the Antibiotics, they do work - I speak from Experience, I lost a Toe within 5 Days from Infection to Amputation, that was Quicker than the constant Check ups with Podiatry, the smell I thought was an issue to, but it was part of the Healing process but you'll be back to full wizzing around soon , chin up Mucka 👍
@Faye , your Artwork is really impressive we need to see the finished picture 😀👍
Have a Good one Both 😁🙏
Chin up guys it will all be sorted soon and you will be thrashing around again 🎉
Fingers crossed pal so to speak 🤣🏍
Best wishes for a speedy recovery big man 🏁🏍👍
Best wishes to you both... Hope to say hi at the ABR festival... First time out on a bike yesterday (the KTM for its MOT) after the little accident on the SRAD...
Ribs ok now, not sure my wrist would make it to Ragley Hall (3hrs ride) just yet though!
chin up Shaun, keep putting vids up and we will keep supporting the channel (regardless of content). Then once you are back on your feet normal service will be resumed. 👍
Cheers for that pal it's very much appreciated 🏍
Wishing you a speedy recovery all the best.
Hiya Shaun , that smell that you are getting from your finger could possibly be Protein (sounds Mad doesn't it) I thought the same when i was told the same thing!
I have just had the top of my Thumb removed by plastic surgery after a crush injury which resulted in the top of my thumb developing necrosis (the death of body tissue) sounds like a song by Cannibal Corpse.
Anyway the treatment that i was having (which might be the same as you) was basically a clear plastic bag type dressing stuck over the top of my thumb then bandage over the top of that, the plastic type bag creates it's own micro green house, which helps the skin tissue to grow back much faster than it normaly would.
When i first had my thumb re-dressed and the bag was taken off there was a really horrid smell and lots of dark brown thick liquid which i was told was Protien.
The protien is the important thing to help the wound heal faster.
I had to eat lots of high Protein food, drinks ect as this help the healing process.
I hope that this helps you understand what you are smelling from your wound and what to expect during your healing.
I hope that you heal quickly and get back to normal asap.
The greatest road racer Joey Dunlop raced with a missing wedding finger you will be fine, keep your chin up Shaun 👍👍👍
Mind da aul fingers Shaun, not like you can get replacement ones.
Infections are nasty old sods. Too many horror stories when infection sets in.
Regards to da Queen. Love her paint work.
If you did it in work Shaun, hope your putting a claim in ££££ new GS 😁👍🏼
Thanks!
Thank you so much 🙏👍
See you both at the ABR for a scooper , 👍
Fingers crossed foy you guys, hope everything turns out great soon.
Only just seen this, don't worry, it will get better, My RH little finger was crushed in a M/C accident (between brake lever and bars) 6 years ago, all the bone was exposed, and broken and ligaments cut, as I was in Hospital for other injuries, I agreed for a full amputation after the first knuckle, the surgeon said to me it will always be painful afterwards, but I watched the surgery, and they cut the bone with shears, then shaped the bone to make a "pad" and brought the skin over and stitched it up. I can honestly say it never hurts at all, and I have full sensation, the surgeon did a brilliant job and I've not had any issue with it at all, you'll be fine, it's just the inconvenience really, but as I had a broken back as well, my finger was all healed before I was able to ride again, and I never even thought about it, just concentrated on making the back pain go away (still have that) so my parting words, ..... it will be fine !! I hope you can make a compensation claim 👍
Yeah absolutely unbelievable what they can do these days isn't it , I had the bone chopped down last week and the surgeon said the main worry would be infection so just hope these antibiotics do the trick 👍
@TinsonTour I hope so too, wishing you all the best 👍
😞 get well soon. bet its one of those where you keep banging it 😭
All the best to, hopefully things turn around for you both.
Can’t be too careful with sepsis about.
Absolutely 👍
