FAU's Marine Mammal Rescue Program

Animal experts at FAU's Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute are on call to help injured marine mammals and bring them to safety.
The FAU HBOI Marine Mammal Rescue Team works under a stranding agreement between the NMFS Southeast Region and FAU HBOI under the authority of MMPA and a disentanglement agreement through NMFS Permit No: 932-1905-01/MA-009526-01. The team is funded by Protect Wild Dolphin and Protect Florida Whales plate funds granted through the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute Foundation.
