This guy though was tough to beat for marques. He had to be at his best very tough 👍
Don't downplay Diaz's accomplishments. Diaz had unified 3 of 4 belts in that division and looked unstoppable. He had every right to be in that ring with Marquez and then some. It was NOT HOW Marquez would beat Diaz. The first was a toss up and the second fight, Marquez was obviously favored after winning the first.

yeah that was definitely fun to watch. a lot of people at the time thought barrera won that fight and had he gotten the knock down he deserved it would have made the scoring very interesting. i watched that fight a couple weeks ago and thought for sure marquez won but it was close competitive fight would have loved to see it at 122 years earlier.
