Another well written & well acted episode ! THANK YOU for sharing these video gems with us ! 🙂
As someone who has seizures, this hit very close to home for me. Thank you for this :)
Love Dennis Harper great actor, my neighbors son had this problem, have to pay attention, 😢😢😢 my Cammand Segent Magor wife was found in bath tube one day was a very sad day he was a Great man, we all felt bad for him, a attack could happen anytime.
Wow. Thanks for the details u 🤡
Dennis is such a beautiful boy.
He was no Rondo Hatton, but yes, I must admit Dennis was one handsome young man !
Dennis Hopper was a very natural actor, and here we see that from a very young age!
I certainly have a notion to second that emotion. The late great Mr Hopper was truly one gifted actor.
Nobody throws a fit like Dennis Hopper
Ben Casey could not have existed without this show.
James Moser created that series, too.
@@fromthesidelines Mr Moser was a very talented gentleman. "Medic" and "Ben Casey" were both truly iconic series. Always well produced, well written & well cast.
He originally wrote for Jack Webb's "DRAGNET".
Very good drama, IMHO. (Especially in 2nd half) ~ 3:00 is a good place to start viewing this video, as it helps one to avoid a "gross out" scene in first 3 minutes. Toward the end, the sympathetic nurse gives a great performance. So does Dennis Hopper (who plays the 17 year old patient). Memorable scenes, unusual wisdom expressed.
Originally telecast on January 3, 1955.
Thanks for the date. My parents were watching this and it scared me. Now I know I was seven years old. And also know it was Dennis Hopper.
@@texasstadium I remember this as well. I was only 5 and it scared me to death. I’ve remembered it all my life.
I happen to know a few people who have epilepsy and they live with it there is one here where I live at she has epilepsy and she handles it very well
Indeed ! Today they have some wonderful medications to help keep seizures under control.
@@jubalcalif9100 yes they do. For which I personally am thankful for given I have seizure disorder :(
Horrible condition. You're never supposed to stick objects in their mouths to prevent them from swallowing their tongues which is physically impossible.
@@davidc.4972 Indubitably ! I read somewhere years that comedian Bud Abbott had epilepsy & his partner Lou Costello always carried a pencil to put between Bud's teeth to prevent him from biting his tongue in case he had a seizure.
Great. Thanks doc...goof
