Great video brother, where in nz is this Hutt ? North or south and If north is to close to Wellington at all? I wouldn’t mind checking it out myself… definitely subbing, can’t wait for the next video✌️ ps: that bowl on the ground full of water is for any possible dogs that are with ya haha
Cool video cheers bro. Are fires allowed in the ranges at all times of the year? Looking at coming over from Perth to get some hiking and peace n quiet in. Thanks
Fires are allowed in the forest park unless there is a seasonal fire restriction, which will usually happen if there has been a long dry season. Most huts will have fire places which you can use any time. Fires in the backcountry are allowed with some restrictions that can be found on DOCs website. www.doc.govt.nz/parks-and-recreation/know-before-you-go/fires/
Thanks for this. Wanting to do this tramp with kids so good to have a preview
